Finally somebody makes sense on here
I'm referring to the quote below, the JMM vs. Mayweather part.
Most people seem to ignore the fact that Marquez had to move up two divisions, came in to the fight in poor shape, very soft, slow and weak, and Mayweather was overweight on the scale, paid a fine, and then on fight night he looked easily at least 10 pounds heavier than JMM, and he looked ripped and in perfect shape compared to Marquez, who looked his worst ever in a boxing fight.
So that's the only case where Mayweather "did better" than Pacquiao, against a common opponent. All other cases, Pacquiao put his opponent to shame whereas Mayweather had trouble with them at some points in the fight, specially with Mosley and Cotto, not to mention that many people believe he actually lost to De la Hoya, whereas Manny put the Golden Boy to shame, he beat him up so badly, he just couldn't come out from his corner any more and keep fighting. Manny also put Cotto to shame, and made Mosley look cowardly and run away from him all fight, after he was knocked down, at which point he felt Manny's power and speed and decided to just stay away from him. That's the ONLY time I remember Mosley acting cowardly and running away from his opponent all night, I mean he even traded all night with Canelo, a much younger, heavier and stronger fighter than both Floyd and Manny!
Bottom line, finally somebody made sense!
