Comments Thread For: Brandon Rios: Mayweather Too Smart, Beats Pacquiao

Former champion Brandon Rios is riding a two fight win streak since losing a twelve round decision to Manny Pacquiao in the fall of 2013.

The hottest topic in boxing is a possible fight between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Their respective camps have been negotiating for the last few weeks and hope to reach an agreement.

When giving his thoughts on the fight, Rios tabbed Mayweather to win - because he says the pound-for-pound king is too smart, too defensive and won't do anything ****** with Pacquiao.

thats about the 10th person or more who has been in the ring with pac say he's not going to beat floyd...its more that too smart..its actually too good on his feet, quick twitch, and i'm sure he wont take it lightly like he did the chino 1 rematch..floyd has knocked down every guy that was smaller than him hatton (out) jmm (down)...i think manny might find himself inept in this competition
          BTW..i had mannybradley2 115-115...2 10-10 rounds
my scoring comes from watching in slomo and rounds over and over again..judges are not privy to it but i am so i do it, and i base my records off that
night of the fight i had floyd chion i think 9-3 floyd...next day 7-5 floyd

if floyd manny dont happe i want mannybradley3...well not want, but i'm cool with it

You are one of the handful of deranged matwesther fans who feel that pacquiao didn't school Bradley in both fights. Yes the second fight was closer, but even Bradley admitted pacquiao beat him and also hurt him really bad. He was the aggressor throughout, landed the harder shots, and also landed more shots and power shots. Again the first fight he outlanded Bradley almost 2 to 1, however the second fight it was still by a considerable margin. You can't give victory to someone who fights on their back foot the whole fight, lands less punches, and lands the less powerful punches. Also 10 fighters have said mayweather wins? Your crazy name these ten fighters. Bradley said it was 50/50 as did de la Hoya. Most boxing people say its 50/50 with a slight edge to mayweather because of his 0 loss. How can you bet against someone who has never lost? Well that's easy because mannys style is all wrong for him and also Manny has beaten the common opponents they have faced way worse with the exception of Marquez who had to come up 2 divisions in weight for the first time to fight mayweather who came in overweight. Also pacquiao had already beaten Marquez twice at that point, which is far more impressive than mayweather beating him while moving up 2 divisions. Even Floyd knows he cannot beat Manny pacquiao, hence why he has been doing the Forrest Gump for years from him.

Floyd and smart don't belong in the same sentence

Manny wiped the floor with rios and he has never fought Floyd, yet he feels Floyd wins clearly?

Wow that's crazy how they can make these assumptions..

All I know is this, if manny brings the dog out in him, the pac vs jmm4 pre ko and just unleashes everything he has on Floyd, there's absolutely NO telling who wins... Period.

Unstopable force vs immovable object type of ****...

Anyone who doesn't beilieve this (Floyd or manny fan) is a ****ing moron...
