When was he ever in contention for such recognition? Most intelligent boxing fans see the whole TBE thing for the hokey, cheesy marketing slogan that is. The very notion that Mayweather is anywhere near comparable to the likes of Robinson, Greb, Charles, Langford & Armstrong is quite hilarious.

Mayweather stands out in a truly ****, woeful era, and even then has often neglected to fight the toughest challenges available. The fact that we're still debating whether he's going to fight his number one challenger for the last five years is a testament to how much his resume is lacking in comparison to other greats.

And yet, when all the attention was on Pacquiao in 2009 for knocking out bigger guys than him, people accusing him of use of PED's, he just stopped knocking guys out, and still can't knock C- fighters such as Rios and Algieri.

This is a myth - Pac wasn't knocking out bigger guys than him when he went to WW.

You're acting like he was stopping guys with one punch - Pac was TKOing man with an accumalation of punches - BIG DIFFERENCE.

His last real KO was against Ricky Hatton at JWW which was a perfect punch.

The myth that Pac was KOing man out for fun was used to perpetuate the rumour that he was juicing.

Also being a C level fighter doesn't mean they're gunna get KO'd. Plently of A level fighters get KO'd.

i can agree with that and i think most can. we all know floyd isnt there to make it a war. but hes still skill wise the best we ve seen in recent times and some will say ever.i understand wanting to please fans but some fighters dont mind getting hit as much as others. you have to work with what you have and floyd doesnt have the power and will to make it a war. some fighters are exciting and some arent thats all there is to it. but floyd has built his name and rep up to where he doesnt have to have wars to sell out which is pretty amazing. if u keep winning and/or your stock will always be high regardless how you win.
