So he puts Manny in there with Marquez who has his number, Margarito rehydrated to 170, Clottey rehydrated to 170, Cotto yet he doesn't want Mayweather in there with him because his stock will take a massive hit if he loses

Manny got KTFO by Marquez and he's still making a lot for Arum, Manny Floyd breaks all records and eclipses whatever he makes in his remaining fights.

Please tell me, why would Arum not want this fight?

He put him in with jmm instead of Floyd, who we all think would be tougher and instead of cotto at a non cw. Let's not make him out to be a hero.

I've got no doubt that Koncz and Arum are likely crooked (especially Koncz)

But why would they not want this fight to happen?

Maybe he paid off Manny debt and Pac needs to "work it off"

Maybe he realizes after Pac he has no superstar left in that weak stable and cant afford that right now.

Maybe he feels he needs to let the Algeris' Rios' Vargas of his stable get a crack so hopefully one star can emerge.

Maybe he hates Floyd so much he just doesnt want to work with him

I can go on and on but its all speculation. But right now Arum doesnt want fight

So was the Floyd-Oscar fight and he admitted he wasn't interested because, as big as the fight was, he wouldn't make as much as he would from an in-house fight.

Yall asking why Arum wouldn't want this fight....His beef with Mayweather and Haymon is very personal. It's not about money. Arum has more than enough. He knows his guy likely won't win. He doesn't want to lose to those guys. It's that simple IMO.

I hope this is true. If I'm Manny I'm wondering why Bob would suggest another date for the fight knowing the financial benefits of staging a fight that weekend, just so he can maximize revenue on a fight not involving Manny.

I'm tempted to think this is nothing more than a smokescreen but I remain optimistic. I really want to see this fight badly.
