Maybe thee happiest I've ever been for any one fighter. Not so much cause Manny got planked, but more so because JMM finally didn't get screwed over. He laid any doubt to rest and that punch was one of the best timed counters I've ever seen. I jumped up and down, cussed like crazy and celebrated til Sunday night. I still replay that fight at least once a week.

Only great because of the karma. Manny said he had "nothing more to prove" with JMM. Then when cotto wouldn't fight another CW and Manny turned down the $40 mil, no ppv offer, he decided to fight JMM a 4th time.

I thought it was a tremendous fight and whilst a little concerned for Manny, was absolutely delighted for JMM. As boxing fans we live for moments like that and its why we love this sport. It was out of the blue, Marquez was getting pounded, looked almost beaten and then WALLOP!...fooking have that!!! One of the best KO's I've ever seen and one of the most dramatic.

but it only has made his story that much more greater when you see how well he bounced back after that KO. any lesser fighter with a lesser warrior spirit would have retired that night or not have been the same in their next fight.
Great answer to a troll thread.

All the bitter manny fans and *******ual, angry, ****phobic race baiters can't see the irony. Had manny taken the $40 mil, no ppv offer or didn't try to CW cotto again he wouldn't have suffered a one-punch KO.

Even better-had he decided to take OST instead of saying no, if JMM were on PEDs's then maybe he'd have been caught prior to the fight. Instead of the manny fans pointing this out, they try to spin it to pretend floyd and his fans are taking credit for the KO.

Looks like Manny and his crappy, bitter fans got exactly what they deserved.

my exact thoughts... was 'wtf just happened'? I was expecting the round to end,...and pac just fell like a tree. Didn't even see the punch until the replay because of the angle. Just shocked as Pac was taking over the fight.

But like what a few have mentioned..

Pac redeemed himself and has comeback when many wouldn't be able to.
JMM has question marks all over him since which raises speculation. He said No to VADA or USDA in the Bradley fight, which Bradley was adamant about. Only eventually agreed to advanced testing by Nevada's commission. Big red flag to me here. And then goes on to whine after losing to Bradley storming out of the ring.

Ducked Provo, to face Alvarado. Refusing the PAC rematch. Acne on chest and now reported joint/knee pain (symptom of steroid use). Whining/being emotional is also a sign of steroid use. Just saying.

                    It's just su****ious. But whatever.
