it was very sad to see a humble legend warrior go down like that. i cried for him that night.

but it only has made his story that much more greater when you see how well he bounced back after that KO. any lesser fighter with a lesser warrior spirit would have retired that night or not have been the same in their next fight.

I was on the treadmill at home doing my miles, and had the stream playing on my TV. After the KO happened I jumped off the treadmill and cracked open a Tecate in celebration of Juan.

One of the most incredible moments I've seen in boxing.

      Un-****ing-believable.

I make fun of both guys here and there, but at the end of the day I am a lifelong boxing fan and love both fighters. Incredible end to their series.

I didn't even see it. I was stretching and waiting for the bell to ring when I look back it was over. I seriously wondered if he was dead. Dude was OUT.

Great fight. Not so much the Pac fan I used to be so I can appreciate the fight so much more. That KO will live as long as boxing does.

Still gotta be one of the greatest punches ever...

The timing & the result of it...

Look how badly Pacquiao was fcking Marquez up...but he still held his ground and did what he needed to do...

i was watching the fight from a cheap stream.. connection broke off and when it came back i saw marquez on the ropes with his arms up and the crowd going crazy. i thought to myself, what, the fight is over already? and if marquez is on the ropes with his arms raised that can only mean one thing, then i look for manny and thats when i saw his lifeless body on the floor. i turn the computer off after that LOL!!!

                I share similar thoughts.

I would also like to say that Pacquiao has overcome that KO loss because of how strong he bounced back after that. Meanwhile Marquez has only tarnished his reputation since that day. That's pretty embarassing considering he was the one who handed out the knockout, it's like the opposite of the usual happened after that.

But so was Manny, so it's at best a push.
