you're mistaken, a fighter that falls into you like porter or maidana(cleverly made it harder for floyd by adapting to longer range punches) are easy to clinch, pacquiao fight at range, he's not an inside fighter at all, and i dont think he's easy to clinch, also floyd isn't going to always take the chance of diving into an incoming onslaught of swarming fists to get this clinch, or anything really, like i said, he's safety first, if anything he'll fall into a shell and carefully inch closer to pacquiao to clinch, could easily eat some punches

Ortiz got through with a 3 combo, Judah too.... both southpaws. His defence ain't so special against southpaws. He also opens up more against southpaws which leaves him vulnerable against someone like Manny.

The thread is about JMM at least you could have brought JMM in here and maybe had a point because JMM is a great fighter. However, Floyd is capable of implementing some of the stuff JMM does and it would likely be more effective because Floyd's longer range keeps him out of danger areas, plus Floyd is more than willing to tie up something JMM will do but as a guy more focused on getting his it is a last resort.

All this stuff goes together and it will all cause problems, give me the guy with options and that guy in this fight is clearly Floyd Mayweather. Manny has to be too much man for him or what he does won't work at all.

he's been hit with a couple, if we include body and head cotto and maidana had a couple of moments of clean body and head shots, combos of 3+

floyd has never faced a pacquiao like combo puncher though, you probabley never seen bradley get hit by a 3-4 punch combination to the head before pacquiao neither

but if it happens to floyd i think he'd probabley have to be donning the earmuffs

Very true, Maidana hit Floyd with more punches than we are accustomed to seeing Floyd get hit with, and In my opinion, Maidana Is much slower than Pacquiao.

There Is no question Pacquiao will be able to hit Floyd, and regularly.

maidana and pac man are 2 different fighters brother i wouldnt lean on maidanas sucssess to judge how well pac will do. i also think people underestimate maidana with garcia as his trainer
