crossing our fingers Floyd DOES NOT beat up another baby mama or get himself arrested between now and the end January 2015

Would be even better if Floyd accepted before X-Mas but hes probably waiting after the Khan-Alexander fight

I've also read, that for the Maidana fights, Floyd got no upside on PPV buys beyond his guaranteed purse...limited payout. I believe these reports are true.
To be guaranteed $32+ million requires higher PPV buy rates to be profitable.
Floyd's deal was also posted in the NYTImes. The money he gets stems from ppv, concessions, movie theater sales and merchandise sales.

As for showtime itself-the contract info posted says both he and Floyd have an out. SO if SHowtime was losing money-they would have exercised the out already.

Just like there is a HUGE difference between being bankrupt and being broke-people think they mean the same thing. Has Showtime exceeded expectations-likely not But that isn't the same as losing money.

but where do you draw the line to stop aceepting someone's demands? maybe something like change your promoter that you are happy and comfortable with just becuse i diss like him!?

I think some fans are so in love with Floyd that they cannot see that asking someone to change their promoter is as silly as asking them to change their trainer (Roach) ... change your promoter is unheard of ever! we have seen Floyd fight Delahoya fighters while he hates him, but Floyd did not mind that knowing he is surely going to win the battle/those fights.

honestly after Manny accepted the extra drug test (just coz Floyd things Manny has done amazing) and accepted the less money split, and ofcourse the venue, date, ring size, gloves ..... i would question anyone's b*lls if they ask Manny to agree and drop his 15 years promoter just to get the fight ... glad manny refused otherwise i would think of him as a Floyd's B**ch .... what's next? change your wife or religion to get a fight with me? lol

I think CBS/Showtime is maybe making a little money, just above break even. However, their strategy with Floyd is to help them build a following and build their brand. So they are happy keeping him on board and getting exposure.

            They'd love a Floyd-PAC fight for sure.

tell em my man people dont understand that just with the canelo fight showtime might have got all their investement back or a huge chunk of it

Floyd and haymon r just serving them their own medecine
we are not saying life is fair, but I'm suprised that you would blame Manny for not accepting the unrealistic request and in the other hand you are not blaming Floyd for not fighting by requesting unrealistic requests.

in other words you should be blaming Floyd not Manny for the fight not happening by saying "Manny made a choice to stick with Arum" rather than saying Floyd's request is so unrealistic he seems he does not want to fight.

come on bruh dont bull****! First it was osdt, which in reality is not REALLY osdt, 50/50 with a 14 day cut off. Once pac came back and agreed to that, thats when floyd offered 40 mil no ppv revenue. Once pac agreed to that, then he had to leave bob arum, sign to TMT blah blah blah

"but the imaginary stadium doe" "the cut doe" Thats all I hear blah blah blah Ask frampton how an outdoor stadium worked in his fight and are you guys DOCTORS NOW!?

HAHAHAHAHAHA afraid of blood test??? Did pacquiao agree to the testing? Who wanted the 14 day cut off? And when pac agreed to the 14 day cut off, who had a new demand for testing up until the day of the fight???? New excuses everytime and ya too gassed up to see it.

You can't disappear from negotiations for two years and then just expect the exact same terms, that would exhibit zero business acumen on both sides. It would be like Roy Jones Jr. and Hopkins expecting the money they were being offered in the early 2000s for Hopkins-Jones III in 2015. We get it you guys really like Manny and think he deserves whatever he wants. However, things like purse splits aren't determined by who has the most people garbaging up boxing forums. They're based on drawing power and revenue generated.
