That's not a bad offer, but you aren't speaking for Mayweather. He wants 100% of the PPV, while Manny is supposed to be a dummy and get suckered into accepting 40 million like he accepted that brief case of money in the limo from Oscar Delahoya a few years ago, where he signed a contract with them and was signed to both Golden Boy and Top Rank.

We need to look at what's 'reasonable' from Floyd's POV. If he fights Manny, he is fighting the # 2 draw in Boxing, which should mean something when it comes to the split. The # 2 guy deserves a slightly smaller split, but a big split nonetheless. The traditional 60-40 still makes sense. Roy Jones and Hopkins couldn't agree to 60-40, lets see if these two can or whether they will cash out when they're both 40 years old.

Well, to be fair, drawing fans, or people who want to see you humiliated, you're still responsible for those asses in seats, and eyes on televisions.

Haha but you are right - it's pretty embarrassing when Floyd, fighting in his own adopted home, can't bring more fans than a guy from Argentina! Don't know if that says more about the amount of fans Floyd has, or the TYPE of fans who like Floyd.

Whereas Pac is the epitome of a global superstar who has fans from all corners of the world.


If Floyd rejects 60/40, AND the chance to be the lead promoter/A-side, then we know who really is the duck once and for all.

Maidana has never been considered a threat... Alexander beat him easily...
Maidana nor Khan deserved the fight... Maidana beat hypejob Broner... Khan has looked terrible in his last 4-5 fights... going life and death with journeyman...

Canelo is a slow-plodding overhyped fighter with serious stamina issues... although the fight made sense business wise... anyone with any common sense knew that Canelo had no shot in that fight...

These are the opponents that Floyd fans have no problem paying $60 to see..

If Khan beats Alexander... Floyd fans will start telling us how "fast" Khan is...and his style will give Floyd problems...not remembering how inconsistent and average Khan has been his entire career...They'll say some Bs about Virgil Hill has changed Khan and now he's a threat...blah, blah, blah...
