Agree. This sport is in such **** shape that Kovalev only received his first paycheck in 2012 and almost quit. There's far too many protected/babied/hyped talentless prospects getting opportunities others should get. Sickening.

Leaning towards Kovalev, he just box and beat an awkward fighter impressively, someone who is difficult to look good against even in victory. Because he KO his opponents early I was a bit concern he might not be able to sustain a 12 round assault without gassing. But on this evidence he has put that to bed plus he is a full 175 Ib. Ward would definitely have his hands full.

Dwyer actually made a great point about Kovalev. He said his punching power is so great, that inside fighters are afraid to go inside on him and open up.

kovalev beat up hopkins on the inside so bad that hopkins didn't want to even be there. he also knew how to time hopkins when he came forward by throwing over his shoulder. also i like hopkins foot movement a lot better than ward's. ward is fu-cked. luckily in a week ward will be dropped from the the rankings and hopefully he never returns.

Pick em fight. Its going to take a special fighter to overcome kovalevs skill and punching power. Ward is a master boxer but he is going to be so out gunned power wise. Having said that if anybody can beat kovalev its ward.
