thurman has been begging for a legit opponent though

Thurman is delusional if he thinks he is going to make $6 million in 2015. Considering that he has only been fighting once a year since he signed with Haymon, he will be lucky if he makes $1 million in 2015 and $6 million for the rest of his career. I believe he has a misconception about what constitutes seven figures because I seriously doubt he is being paid $1 million to fight a journeyman from Europe that hardly anyone has heard of.

He's acting like Roc Nation is some fly-by-night operation. They have some major athletes from other sports under their umbrella already. I understand his concern as it relates to what they've done in boxing, but damn that sounds like as close to a guaranteed contract you can get in boxing. He'd still be young by the time it's all over.

What the hell is going on. Roc nation would be a huge presence in this sport. Would bring exposure to this sport. Thurman are u serious 2?

Im sure if Thurman was free to make the decision he like Quillin and Wilder would have taken RocNation's offers but they are under contract with Haymon and he has final word. I cant blame them for signing with Haymon in the first place. At the time they made their contracts with Haymon there was no RocNation. Haymon has gotten his fighters big paydays and they have the stability of being apart of the biggest and best stable in boxing.

Two things I laughed at the most:

"As long as you have a '0' (on your record) it's like holding on to a golden goose egg."

                      and

"The way I felt at the end is I don't see how I'm not making $6 million next year anyway."
