But giving Rigo airtime... he's too boring... unreal.. And how many boxing fans are complicit in this..

It's not enough to be your own promoter or even have a big promotional company like Golden Boy... you'd have to own a freakin network... or else the trajectory of the sport will continue to be determined by businessmen and execs with their own vision that often runs completely contrary to the spirit of boxing.

I can dig rigos style as boring as it can get when he coast after getting ahead in a fight.
his problems are
1.hes fighting in a small weight class that makes little money
2. Any one in his weight class is clearly avoiding him
3.he fights too rarely to be seen . If I went him id take undercard fights a knock out bums and whats his stock rise.

Rigo needs to just stop talking make up contracts send them to LSC, Frampton, and the top 6 feather weights Gonzalez, Walters, Mares,Gradovich and Loma and if they all duck him he can call em out all over social media and start putting pressure on all of the champs.
He still thinks he's fighting for the hardcore fans only like those who attend amateur fights. Well hes in the big leagues where you get paid by the millions casual fan not the hundreds of hardcore guys around the world

the problem is that if u continue to fight like that then stay in the am, when people pay to see u they expect blood, sweat and tears, sad but thats the honest truth. Most people dont pay to see a boxing display, most people pay because they want to see one guy knock the other guy out!

Adding different elements to his style would in fact change his style. If it's not broke, don't fix it. As for the repetitive threads, well yeah Rigo is a common subject but I have different approaches.

Agree he doesn't have to change his style. But if he doesn't he can't complain about why no network wants to showcase him in fights, and why no promoter wants to deal with him. Networks only follow what their viewers want, and viewers don't want to see Rigondeaux if he is going to fight in that way.

The whole if I were mExican thing is beyond ******. Vasquez is mexican, and no one gives a ***** about him either. He was robbed against Bey, and most people were glad, because it saved us having to watch Vasquez in another undercard.

Both Jhonny and Abner have said they're willing to fight Rigo. The fact Caribe promotions is managing Rigo isn't going to help negotiations. Truth is Rigo is poorly managed and Caribe is hindering his ability to get fights, but I suppose that's other fighters fault.
