I think when you are not getting what you want, you find a different path. GGG isn't getting the MW fights he wants (and doesn't look like he will) and isn't going to fight Ward the fight most want to see. SO if you want a Floyd fight-drop to 154 (which most seem to think he can make comfortably) and campaign there.
He will be just as dominant. pick off Lara and whoever else. win win situation.

I don't think u guys realize that Mayweather could still make 140. Just cuz he's been cutting a lil bit of weight for 147, & not cutting at all for 154. The dude doesn't belong in that weight class people!!!!! Ok, let's do this, Mayweather is the star... GGG wants him??? Come down to 147. What's next for Mayweather??? Klitschko??? Btw, I'm not a money fan.

If Mayweather would have beaten Winky at 54' when he was at 40, that would have been impressive.
If Floyd would have beaten Pac when he was an unstoppable force between 06-10 that would have been impressive...
If Floyd would beat Triple G at 54 or 60 that would be impressive...
But losing to Castillo and basically struggling and losing to Maidana the first fight is not impressive...
Floyd fans have such low standards for Floyd... Sugar Ray Robinson and Leonard both moved up in weight classes higher than Floyd.. Manny Pac fought at 150 which is 8th division...
Floyd is fighting in his 5th division (nothing special De La Hoya did 6 divisions) and Floyd won't fight the best... Marquez, he didn't even make the contracted weight... Canelo was unproven and looked gassed vs Trout, Mayweather was expected to win the fight because Canelo is slow and has stamina issues... The Ghost and Victor Ortiz were wastes of time... and Maidana twice who had been dominated by Alexander (and Floyd practically lost the first fight)...
Amir Khan does nothing for Floyd's legacy... I don't even think beating Manny does much at this point. The fight for Floyd is Triple G even above the Pacquiao fight, legacy-wise...Triple G has shown no signs of the type of vulnerabilities that Canelo had..and Triple G has way more punching power and a way better amateur background..
As the years go by... Floyd's legacy will be analyzed and broken down as nothing special... and he will always be below guys like Leonard, Robinson, Ali etc (all took much greater challenges in their careers)

This is a ******ed fight either way you slice it.
Mayweather is old small man with brittle hands
Glovokin is a young large prime beast with KO power
This would be like someone request Pernell Whitaker to come up to 160 and fight the 1993 version of Roy Jones Jr, just a crazy ****** fight.
The only way this fight happens is if Glovokin campaigns at 154, and Mayweather being a champ at 154 would then make sense to fight Glovokin.
