There will definitely be better boxers than Floyd in the future. Willie Pep was better than floyd and faced better comp. Floyd is undoubtedly #1/2 of his era. There were better boxers in the past...There will be better ones in the future.

Boxing will not survive with "fans" like you. Half empty arenas and most in the arena are comped, 50k paid ppv's, non stop *******ual references, some clown fired from apple hooking up a massive illegal stream for a bunch of geeks in internet cafes; footwork, counterpunching and movement removed from the sport, fans that only watch fights from one promoter on one network; fans that hate fighters of color (except if they are fighting a black fighter); fans that don't know the proper way to score a fight; fans that think jabs don't count, fans that think setting traps and timing are lucky punches.

Before the internet, boxing fans used to hang out together and actually discuss the sport. Now with the internet we get lonely, bigoted, ****phobic casual fans like yourself who are more focused on insults, parsing videos, story maker and Photoshop.

after a couple of weeks of fraud's retirement nobody will remember him... except for his legacy of ducking pac.

To be honest I'd be saddened when floyd does retire as well as manny. I have been so lucky to have witnessed such talents that were able to fight at such a high level for so long.

Like I said..many people buy his ppvs not because they like the guy or that he's entertaining...it's to see if he can be beaten.

That's why I posed the question as "PRIME and ATG" and the only guy was JMM at a catchweight for Floyd. Beayting an atg who is not prime is not as impressive.That's 1 of the 47 opponents...weak for any ATG's standards.

mayweather may end up with the best pvp buys. but if you graph it. pvp buys is proportional to either population or technology or year( because every year there is an improvement in technology and increase population thus the year 2000-2010 would do better than 1990-1999 and so on)
