Exactly what I was thinking, the list just wreaks of bias and nostalgia nuthuggers, nothing wrong with being nostalgic for past fighters but this list is still a complete joke.
It's like choosing your top 5 power rangers -
Red power ranger (366pts)
Green power ranger (200pts)
Pink power ranger (150pts)
Blue power ranger (74pts)
Yellow power ranger (66pts)
These so called experts do nothing but live in fantasy land, probably heavily under the influence (drugs & alcohol likely) when deciding these lists
The fact people pay these ******s to write crap up like this is beyond me.

As usual whenever this thread get bumped Manny fans and non Floyd fans doing everything they can to try to devalue the list simply because Floyd is on it and Manny isn't.
Such a shame that posters ride with these writers/historians whenever they are critical of Floyd but then turn on them whenever they are not.

Argue my point, why is this list not biased?
16 out of 20 fighters are American, a lot of key figures of boxing have been skipped out so these historians come across as elitist/purist its sickening that someone would not want to give someone their due credit for them just because they 'think' key word there and that's all they do, make assumptions play the guessing game and likely they've got it wrong.
If you want top lists of all time to be took seriously you need a damn well good explanation why other fighters have been left out and why someone from 60/70 years ago would walk through everyone today because essentially them being put on that list is exactly what they're saying to us.

The TS also provided the list of voters. Check that because I believe there were some non americans.
You calling it biased is self serving. SHow us how its biased?

How the hell is Manny not on this list?
The only 8 div world champion. Fought most of the greats of his divisions in their primes, and for the most part walked right through them.
Started his career at 108 pounds! Say what you want but ALL the greats have losses. Manny needs/has to be on any credible list of the ATG of the last 70+ years.

A dude that seriously gets overlooked for these debates is Michael spinks..
32-1 with one brutal loss at the end of his career to prime mike Tyson
Gold medal
Lineal undisputed lightheavy champ
Reigned over the best and deepest light heavy division in history
A bunch of successful defenses
Undisputed lineal heavyweight champ
Beat an undefeated atg champion Larry Holmes twice (razor thin)
2 successful title defense at heavy
Wins over guys like homes, Cooney, eddie mustapha, Dwight qawi, Murray Sutherland, marvin, etc
Beating Cooney >>>> beating John Ruiz
Maybe he isn't on the mt. Rushmore of boxing but he sure as hell has talent and career achievements on par with guys like roy, pernell, chavez, etc
