WTF are you talking about? I was actually hoping that there would be some real numbers to go by. I was disappointed.

I don't believe this for a second. I still think it will come out to 750k-775k

Not me, I loved the fight, but not the undercard. I like the occasional Rock'em Sock'em robot types of fights when you have two of those types of fighters in the ring, such as; a potential Rios vs. Provodnikov fight. But with a Mayweather fight, I don't like to see him at the 154 because he's slower and he is not able to use movement. The old Ali fights where he is moving and avoiding hits were great fights. When he was released from prison, about 4 years older and heavier, he wasn't using the same movement and had to stay in the pocket. That wasn't his strength and neither is Mayweather's.

I don't know why people (not saying you) wants Mayweather to just stay in the pocket when that's not playing to his strengths. When I see Provodnikov fight, I don't want to see him dancing around the ring...because that's not playing to his strengths.

Going back to the article, although I'm a Mayweather fan, didn't think that it'll do those numbers (Projected or not). Actually hoped that it did only 700,000 or less in order to force a Pac fight.

Not true. Schaefer projected way above the real numbers on several occasions. I'm surprised you're saying this.

If we put them on the same scale = if we put it at the same price

                  There's no problem comparing:

X amount of buys * Price = Revenue

If you want to take into account inflation that's fine.

Nitpicking a quick calculation is ridiculous. I didn't even post it to prove anything, I just threw it out there because the price increase was about triple regular inflation.
It's still radically inaccurate. I'm not nitpicking, just stating WHY it's inaccurate. You're the one who is defensive about your clearly wrong calculation. People are going to quote your post and say "floyd really sold 1.2 mil, check out this very accurate calculation." I don't really care how wrong or unfounded it is.
