I don't know why people (not saying you) wants Mayweather to just stay in the pocket when that's not playing to his strengths. When I see Provodnikov fight, I don't want to see him dancing around the ring...because that's not playing to his strengths.
Going back to the article, although I'm a Mayweather fan, didn't think that it'll do those numbers (Projected or not). Actually hoped that it did only 700,000 or less in order to force a Pac fight.

If you want to take into account inflation that's fine.
Nitpicking a quick calculation is ridiculous. I didn't even post it to prove anything, I just threw it out there because the price increase was about triple regular inflation.
