Hey Floyd haters, the man despite his declining skills and age still made Maidana look silly. It wasn't all Bayless' fault. And where did this excessive holding crap come from. The only time he clinched was when Maidana had him against the ropes. I can understand if he did a Khan and clinched each time he threw a punch. Maidana ****** in this rematch and got schooled. Deal with it.

You are obviously passionate about Floyd and boxing, which is a good thing. But all you have stated in your respective posts is an opinion based on other peoples view of the fight.

To be honest, I think matches like these are a waste of time when there is better opposition out there for Floyd, but he appears to pick opponents that reflect his current skill level, which is great for the casuals and his record, but leaves the people who follow boxing frustrated and result in boards becoming arbitrary.

Boxing at it's worst

Well, let's recap this fight. Everyone who understands boxing, and i'm not just talking about a casual fan, who comes on here and bashes a fighter cause of his love and admiration of a certain fighter. We are talking about real fans here, knew this fight was gonna turn out the way it did. If you paid or didn't, that none of anyone's business, but we all knew going into this fight it was gonna be easy work for Floyd. Let's be totally honest here, the first fight was not close at all, no fighter loses 8 rounds and gets a rematch, but i digress. Floyd's skills are declining, but he still looks sharp. The excessive holding, the running, the picked pot shots were all something we knew was going to happen. I don't understand how anyone can be upset, when you know the outcome. Boxing has a number of young fans, people watching a Floyd or even a Manny fight for that matter are simply watching now cause they are fans of that fighter. The GGG's, Khan, Porter, Thurman's, Brook, and number of young fighters should be the central focus of all fighters moving forward. I don't think hardcore fans are gonna be excited for the next "big fight" with Manny vs Algeri, but i'll pay, cause i like watching Manny fight. i know he's gonna land at will and win a 12 round decision, i think everyone knows that...but still people will come on here and bash the dude for the level he fought....it's all the same story with the posts here...it's kinda getting old, and for the few people who comment on the fight itself and give your insight, keep doing your thing, but for the people that just come on here at all hours of the night to complain and whine..go get laid. Enjoy a woman or a man for the night and stop this ridiculousness.

Fight Fans will never get their dream match, even if their two fighters they want to fight fight...it's just the way fans are.

Theres the reason why floyd wanted him to use pillow gloves. That punch that rocked him at the end of the round would have had him sleeping like pacquiao. Bayles protecting floyd is nothing new, but at least the judges scored the fight right for once. Hugweather bought this victory

Very Predictable! Confirms to me that Mayweather did stay in the pocket and tried to give the fans a entertaining fight, then the criticism of "HIS LEGS ARE GONE" made him come out and SHOW that they're not

But this rematch was basically Mayweather STEALING MONEY from SHOWTIME, this shouldn't even be counted as a match off of his Contract
