Golovkin has had a late start to his US career and becoming a major star is in no small degree due to his sale as an unbeaten KO artist to the broader demographic, for whom he's a relative newcomer and only starting to become known.

What I'm saying that there's plenty of valid reasons for this fight to wait until a more propitious time, not that it shouldn't happen.
I understand that he is a late starter and he wants first the easier, less risky or even bigger money fights but there are double standards here...
For example Cotto at the same time get a lots of diss nowadays because he wants to fight against Canelo first instead of Golovkin. Bigger money and probably a little less risk, if he win and still don't fight Golovkin, instead fight against journeymen and gatekeepers than the critics are valid, but before that no.

Ward's not fighting anyone right now so what's he even talking about?

Very few casual fans are familiar with Ward and/or GGG.

Difference is, Ward isn't fighting anybody at 75. GGG will fight anybody at 68 but Ward. But i guess its hard to recognize that with GGG's ballsack in your face weak ass b1tch.

Ward isnt fighting anybody at 68 or 75. Another difference is, other 68 A siders like Chavez or Froch wouldnt ask B sider to send the contract, like these Team Ward jokers are.

I've said for awhile that I WISH Ward would move up. But that's not the topic at hand. GGG and Ward are actually in similar situations. The best fighters in their respective divisions that few of the top guys wanna fight. And since GGG said anybody from 54-68, seems like a natural match-up to me. So it really doesn't make sense to me that its the GGG supporters that are against it. Ward offers him an opportunity to legitimize the hype. And the GGG supporters don't want it because its very possible that the hype machine would come to an embarrassing halt,; which the gentleman in the article pointed out.

There are plenty of fights at 168 for Ward if he wanted them, including a brand new titleholder. Last time Ward was looking to get in the ring, he was trying to fight nobodies and Kelly Pavlik for huge money. HBO had to negotiate him into fighting Edwin freaking Rodriguez for the price they had to pay him, because Ward wanted someone even easier.

Ward wants money that doesn't exist for him and is turning down whatever offers Goossen is actually making. The fights are there, Ward is the one that doesn't want them, or wants too much money for them.

Sorry, post got cut off. All I was gonna say is Ward offers GGG a chance to legitimize the hype.
