Nah, it's only been about 9.5 months since Ward's last fight.

I'm sure thats whats on your mind most of the time. Like another poster says, different strokes for different folks. I dont have a problem with your *******uality as long as you keep it to yourself. Your shocking ******ity is hard to work around on a boxing message board OTOH

The fact that Ward isn't getting ANY fights is evidence that at least something is missing from the equation.
Nobody worth a **** in his division wants to fight Ward. Plus, Ward's NEVER been a guy that fought a lot. Even as a prospect.

I myself would like him to fight Ward, and would accept that most genuine fight fans would accept the loss, but viewing figures and revenues aren't driven by hardcore fight fans, but by casual fans and part time viewers who just tune in for major fights. Golovkin has had a late start to his US career and becoming a major star is in no small degree due to his sale as an unbeaten KO artist to the broader demographic, for whom he's a relative newcomer and only starting to become known.

What I'm saying that there's plenty of valid reasons for this fight to wait until a more propitious time, not that it shouldn't happen.

Quoting this because it's a simple truth that a lot of people have a hard time understanding. If you are the one asking for the fight, you are not the A side. Period.

Doesn't want to, which has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Well you keep saying ggg should move up cause theres nothing for him at mw, and hes not even The Champ. Here you have a guy that is the champ, with no options at the weight, as you said. So why not move up? Not that I care, just pointing out your ******ity once again

Because he already fought and beat them. If he's waiting for Chavez Jnr. both of them would've sat out for so long that it's not even worth buying on PPV
