You have to ask why the self-proclaimed TBE would would even worry about what brand of gloves his opponents wears. I don't believe Kotelnik, Khan or Alexander insisted on a pair of specific gloves for Maidana, so why would a much more talented boxer in Mayweather hold such concerns over a boxer who he claims is an inferior puncher to recent opponents?

I thought for sure he would be allowed to wear his MX gloves just to add interest. Oh well at least it's settled well beforehand. I'm still into the fight either way, I just hope there is no last minute BS this time.
