Lol, Ward is not fooling anyone. Everything Team GGG has said has been on point. Notice he didn't dispute anything in that article? And Ward's the one that's always talking about Golovkin. That's the only thing keeping him relevant.

A GGG vs Ward fight doesn't make any financial sense for both parties right now, since Golovkin and Ward are not big enough of a draw yet to make that fight the PPV fight that it could be. They are both HBO fighters and top talents in the sport. A matchup between those two can be alot bigger.

Ward's not helping the cause either, by being inactive and thinking he can just stay put on his ass and a fight of his liking will just fall on his lap.

If Ward ever does return, I would like to see him get one or two good fights under him before he faces Golovkin. It could serve as a build-up to the fight and should tell us if Ward is still the top fighter that we think he is. I don't want any excuses for when Golovkin beats him.

Ward had his right shoulder injured since he was about 12 years old.
It is amazing what he accomplished with a inverted stance and actually only one hand -- his left hand.

Tell 'em how it is, Andre. If Team Golovkin doesn't really want to fight you then they should keep your name out of their mouth.

It's funny how they went from wanting to face anyone from 154 to 168.....to all of a sudden turning you down because you "don't make financial sense."

i'm not going to say anything about ducking. all I know is ward won the super 6. he shouldn't have to chase anybody. unfortunately he got himself into a legal battle with the promoter who built his career & that is where it stands. it's too bad he is rotting on the side lines but it is what it is. one thing I would like to add. I read a comment about him ducking bute I think... even before he won the super 6 he stated he would not give bute a shot because he wasn't in the tourney & he didn't deserve a shot. I agree with ward on that one. bute stayed at home instead of entering. the bottom line is he was making more money in Quebec then he would of fighting in the super 6. can't blame bute for that though...

and ward also ducked stevenson because stevenson wasn't in the tourney. so ward can only fight guys who were in the tourney? like edwin rodriguez right.

              Ward just loves to talk.
He had a chance to fight Bute after the super six, at a time where Bute was considered the number 2 guy at 68, he declined.
Was asked to go to England for a rematch with Froch, he declined.
He has been asked to move to 175 where he can fight Kovalev, Stevenson or Pascal, he declines.
Begs for a fight with Chavez at 68, yet criticizes Froch, and GGG for doing the same thing.

Talks about wanting to fight the best but negotiates to fight the Dimitris Sartison (whom HBO thankfully declined), and Edwin Rodriguez of the boxing world.

This guy is quickly becoming a joke.

He saw that and started talking. Ward doesn't want to fight Golovkin, it's just getting some mileage out of pretending he does.

They should make the fight, K2 get a ref in who penalises clinching and it's 50-50 (Drac, where you at bruh?)

First of all Bute didn't stay at home.
He wasn't invited to the Super Six. Two completely different things.
However Showtime willing to make up for the mistake of not inviting Bute to their tournament signed Bute to a multifight contract on their network. Everything was set for the winner (Ward) to fight Bute in a mega fight ($$$) for 168 supremacy.
It was Ward who declined, and allowed Froch to take the fight, and all the money that came with it. In addition to turning down Bute, he turned down a rematch with Froch in England, he refuses to move up to 75 claiming there are no good fights there when Stevenson, Kovalev, Hopkins and Pascal are available.
