    Cotto-Golovkin @ 157, no less.
If Andrade is too risky @ 154, then GGG should be avoided at all cost! In that case Cotto might as well fight Thurman or Bradley @ 154.

For the record, I mostly agree with you. But I do wish folks would stop pretending that Cotto is a real middleweight.

What does ggg gain by cotto vacating?? He still needs a big fight.

It is very likely that Cotto doesn't defend his lineal 160 belt this year -- he keeps it for Canelo on Cinco de Mayo 2015.
Cotto would better fight a jr. middleweight. And no Golovkin whatsoever.

The real legacy of Freddie Roach is abusing of any type of advantage to get wins. I am not saying a coach shouldn't try to do a little something in that respect but the way Roach always acts is really sick. I am getting more convinced that the mega fight between Manny and Floyd hasn't happened mainly because FMJ has not given to any of Roach's demands. Freddie has been always the mind behind all the artifices that could ensure or at least make it easier for this fighters to be the victors.

Right, everyone knows that he won't compete well against healthy, strong top-tier MWs because he's a naturally smaller guy, but I just wish his camp would quit pretending that they have any intention at all of fighting the MW elite. It's definitely smart to use the MW title he has as leverage for a Mayweather rematch or a Canelo fight (I personally think he should avoid Canelo but whatever), so I can't fault him there.

158 and not more, if you got a belt at 160 ****in fight 160ers at 160, seems like Cotto will pull another Floyd with the difference that Floyd at least fought 2 times at the full 154 limit. Cotto definatly has balls but not @ 160, like many people already said, he will not fight a legit, healthy MW.

how are you gonna fight sergio at 160 then ask for a catchweight when both fighters are title holders at 160lbs?

that is some floyd mayweather bull**** tactic there roach.

he needs to retire and shut up. That disease of his must be rotting his brain at such a rapid fashion.

so it makes floyd's catchweight of canelo even worse.

Cotto fans are starting look like Floyd fans. The legacy talk pre-Martinez became business talk suddenly.
