In the chavez-martinez fight, chavez didn't let his hands go until that last round and we all saw what happened. In the cotto-martinez fight, cotto caught him early in the fight and its hard to recover when your body hasn't warmed up and get your blood and adrenaline pumping. Ask james kirkland about that. The cotto-pacquiao fight is different, there was a clause in the contract that cotto could not rehydrate.

It also seems like a fair return of the karma Pacquiao got when he moved up to welterweight (after beating Hatton at light welterweight) and had the catchweight on Cotto. People seem to ignore the timeline of Pacquiao's movement up the weight divisions and they just blast him for catchweights on his higher weight opponents as if he had always been in the opponent's weight division.
Maybe the Algieri catchweight is a gauge for Pacquiao to see how he feels going back down to light welterweight. Wasn't there talk about how Pacquiao was going back down in weight division, being as small a welterweight as he is? It's no wonder why he relinquished the belt he got over Margarito, and why he would only negotiate a light middleweight catchweight vs Cotto. He seems to know his limits now after testing how far up he can go.
Pacquiao's climb up the weight divisions show how he had the courage to dare to be great. It's a crying shame how his nemesis doesn't have the same courage to walk the talk and make all that money taking on "that yellow sushi & rice cooking midget."

I respect logical opinions that see it otherwise. But in my own lil personal boxing universe. I don't need the finality of GGG-Cotto to recognize Gennady as the class of the division. IMO any fighter wanting to claim supremacy at 60 needs to see GGG. And its obvious, Cotto doesn't care much for wanting to lay claim to being king at 60. So I'm fine whether the fight happens or not.

But no the Ballerina is a warrior and hero. Get the **** out of here.
exactly. you'll see the majority of them wearing avatars and avi's of the inevitable massacre, but sergio, the guy trying to cash out with cotto avoiding GloveKing, is a martyr.
