Been meaning to ask you: what was your score for this fight?
    117-111 or 116-112 for Lara.

    I gave Canelo rounds 4, 8, 9, and maybe the 12th -- maybe.

Lara won, in my opinion, but he should've done more. He only has himself to blame in that regard. You know you're on the big stage; you know what's expected. This is boxing. You're expecting fairness? Be happy you got your shot, man. Now the moment is passed and you have to start over. SMH
maybe he is trying to outdo jmm....

Intersting. Exchanges are some of the most exciting moments in a boxing match. There were none in this fight, or almost none.

I've always wanted to like Lara. My high point with him was the P Will fight, and then again with Perro. He has bored and frustrated me the rest of the time. People talk about Rigo being boring, and I can understand why, but I think he's beautiful to watch. Gamboa is just electrifying. It's a damn shame his career has all but imploded. Lara? He's just never really done it for me. Too limited. Too inactive. His inactivity, in my opinion, cost him the win against Canelo.

This explains a lot. I should've posed the question before doing all that typing. I just can't agree with those scores, man. 116-112 is already pushing the envelope. 117-111 is Levi Martinezish. Now I know why you said all the things you said, and why you think the way you do.

115-113 is an absurd score. It's really not difficult to see that. After four rounds, I had it 3-1. What was your scorecard?

How is 116-112 pushing the envelop? It's a single round less (or more) than your card.

Canelo landed to the body and it didn't slow down Lara. Angulo landed to the body and it took a toll, Lara was dropped twice in that fight.

I'm trying to figure out why Canelo didn't open up more...? Maybe he felt something that persuaded him not to just take two to land one..
I agree with this. It's too bad he assumed wrong.

That's out of his hands, unfortunately. That's what poisons the sport. Can't believe Paulie, Ward, Mayweather, BHop, etc. have lasted this long.

Absurd? lol I think 117-111 is absurd. Lots of respected boxing people had this fight for Canelo. Lots had it for Lara. What does that tell you? It was a close fight that could've gone to either man. Paulie Malignaggi, who is a boxer's boxer said, "Close fight. Could've gone to either man." You think you have a lock on the truth?

115-113 is close. 116-112 is getting away from "close" territory. 117-111 is entering the realm of "wide."

Again, what was your scorecard? I'd like to see which rounds you gave to each fighter.
