    115-113 for Canelo.
Very disappointed on Lara. It is not necessary going toe to toe, like Bradley on the fight with Provodnikov, but after all he was talking for years, you can not run all the night and throw only 350 punches in that fight.

I had canelo winning 8 to 4 , lara just moved way to much threw to little , canelo pressed the fight and landed good body blows , body punches don't get the credit in fights they should ( as per maidana mayweather ) ill take meaty body punches over slappy jabs anyday.

This isn't stock trading. This is boxing. It's subjective and scoring literally always comes down to opinions.

There is an even bigger school of thought on human psychology that we have an inherent bias that cannot be helped. Now that is actually relevant. Being a Cuban it would have affected you.

Of course it applies to everyone. Me included, but the majority opinion is that Canelo won. That's the closest to objective that the sport gets, I'm afraid.

Then there's the fact that Mexicans far, far outnumber Cubans in population.
I'm not Mexican. They're not the biggest group of fans on here either.
Nor are they anywhere near as dogmatic as the Cubans that are here, on average. They have many more fighters to root for so they're more disperesed.

Canelo is popular enough to have his own haters as well.

There's also the fact that most people prefer a more aggressive style of fighting.
What makes your opinion more right than ours/theirs?

There are lies, damn lies, then there are statistics. I can go on....
I hope you haven't cited the punch stats.

Lara fought an ugly, negative fight. There was nothing clear about it except the fact that he ****ed up an opportunity. He talked a lot of **** to get this fight, and he talked more still in the build-up. Turns out he didn't have what it took to "make Canelo quit"

He didn't even discourage him once.

If Lara had fought Canelo like he fought Trout it would've been a SD in his favor

In the trout fight he picked spots throughout all 12 rds to actually stand his ground and sit down on his shots

He did not fight nearly as negative vs Trout as he did on Saturday and it cost him the fight

Lara can beat Canelo IMO, he just needs to take a few more risks like Floyd did vs Canelo and Maidana, you can move and box off the back foot like rigo but you need to stand your ground and show the judges you're not fighting scared

really, cuz I'm pretty sure a lot of experts, commentators and boxers said canelo won due to lara's inactivity.

Canelo knows he didn't win. Chepo knows he didn't win, Floyd exposed Canelo, Lara confirmed it
yeah, floyd landed 100+ punches on canelo

                lara just landed 10 more.

                thats confirming it.

                  just watched it.
Close fight guys, thought Lara did a little bit more then Canelo, but no way he was getting the decision in a close fight anyway.
Funny, I think Canelo was the one who could've tried harder. He didn't start even really trying to pressure Lara until the 4th and then it looked liked he never even trained to cut off the ring.
Looked like the Pac-Mosley fight if Mosley actually threw punches back.

                    I agree.

Only difference is Mayweather would stay in the pocket a bit longer and a bit more often. His defense is more spectacular (and better) than Lara's , but apart from that the two fights were not so dissimilar.

Both Lara and Floyd gave the impression of 'coasting'.

However, Lara is not Floyd name-wise , although I think he won he should have been less negative, throw some flashy combo's without any other intent than steal rounds , like Floyd did, if nothing else.

One doesn't move from corner to corner second guessing themselves for no apparent reason at all, Canelo made Lara respect his game.
