We were right about Maidana since before Broner and people hate it.
Yep i got the ***y vs Cotto fight wrong, ha but its all good.

The broner sh it was funny man, MY opinion of Broner Pre Maidana fight was that he was in trouble vs Maidana because of a few reasons.

Low output,Flat footed, getting hit a lot and lacking legit WW power. This was OK at SFW and LW where he held all the advantages, these guys were smaller than him, less powerful that he didn't mind getting hit by them.

The response i got to this was "don't be silly, he fought like that because he didn't fear the power, he will move more vs Maidana, put on a clinic, easy work". My response was if he fights the same way and i see no reason why he won't, no proof that he can fight any different is that Maidana will hurt, drop and stop Broner, he isn't fighting Rees or Paulie this time guys.

Some even said Maidana wouldn't land a clean shot, they disrespected him big time as Gavie Rees landed plenty ha.

He shouldn't do anything that different, just waste less punches, use the upper cut more pace him self a bit better. We will have to wait and see what happens but i'd be surprised if Chino doesn't have success early again.

Yeah, we'll have to wait and see what happens. But the problem is, Floyd will most likely be even more prepared for that plan than he was before.

Doesn't mean he will be able to stop it, and you underrate Chinos ability to adapt.

It will be interesting to see if Floyd can stop maidana swarming him and outworking him like he did in the first half of the fight, maidana also will be more prepared and now knows what its like to fight Floyd, its an advantage only Castillo has been lucky enough to have.

Because Chino is not that type of fighter. He's not a fighter like Marquez. If you said Marquez can adapt, I'd agree. But he is not a Marquez type of fighter. It's for the same reason that Pacquaio keeps fighting the same way, and yet Marquez does not every single fight they have.

You could be right though in that maybe Floyd won't be able to divert the attack though, that's the only thing I can say that's possible.

Maidana won't be more prepared. He's coming with the same type of preparation. He will come in with the same fighting style, because again, he's not going to outbox him. That's not really being more prepared. That's just coming with a cheat sheet of the same exact answers you had for the last exam and hoping you'll get lucky and achieve a higher score.

It's part of the reason why I'm uninterested in this fight (even though I understand why it was made). A different fighter would have likely brought at least a newer angle at Floyd to deal with.

maidana is 1-0 in rematches... so how would you know this? he was smart enough to give floyd one of the toughest fights of his career, the guy he supposedly had zero chance against according to you hipsters.

It doesn't matter of Maidana changed or not. Which of course he can.

Maywather isn't going to be able to adjust. It's not in his mentality to go against what Maidana is doing to get him to the ropes.

Mayweather didn't put himself on the ropes. He was placed there. The jab, the feints, the power. Cutting off the ring. Awkwardness. When or what is Maidana going to throw. The best Mayweather can hope for is Maidana not conserving his energy or ignoring some of those key aspect, particularly the jab.

If Maidana fights smarter he can outbox Mayweather. Not smother his shots so much. Pick his shots wiser. (Forget that looping overhand) and actually throw some combos rather then the ****** overhand over and over. Mix it in, not make it the only weapon. Never stand in range (middle of the ring) without feinting or jabbing. When Mayweather gets off first he has you where he wants.

And most importantly. Read what Mayweather is doing. For someone regarded as so good, he has some of the biggest telegraphs on what he will do next. He postures up in certain exact ways before he throws the same exact punches in that posture. Rd 10 Maidana saw this and almost ended Mayweather all together. I pray Garcia saw this and they are working on it.

This is going to be so hilarious to watch, I seriously cannot wait.

Chino will not get away with the MMA and cheating tactics he used in the first fight. There will be a fair 3rd man in the ring this time, and Chino better think twice about trying to get that extra edge by cheating. This will be a pure boxing showcase for Floyd and he will look spectacular in doing so.

I can see him popping off jabs, combinations, uppercuts. A little bit of everything in this one, so as long as Chino isn't allowed to use roughhouse bully tactics on the inside. This fight will look much more clean and just like the first one, it will have a clear winner.

The funniest part is the point deductions Chino will receive. His fans will sit there in awe dumbfounded as to why the ref is doing his job instead of letting the MMA fighter get away with dirty tactics. 10-2 clear UD.
