With less than 5 weeks left to go before undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd "Money" Mayweather makes his return to the ring to face former welterweight champion Marcos Maidana in a highly-anticipated rematch on September 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, the televised pay-per-view undercard is taking shape for what is considered to be one of the biggest boxing events of the year.
As FightHype.com previously reported, the lightweight title fight between IBF champion Miguel Vazquez and challenger Mickey Bey will likely be the co-main event. Prior to that, former jr. middleweight contender Alfredo Angulo will make his debut as a middleweight when he faces jr. middleweight contender James De La Rosa at a contracted weight of 162 pounds. Furthermore, WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz will likely be opening up the telecast against an opponent that has yet to be determined.

If you think Maidana is cheating, then so is Ward. I bet you love Ward.

I'm a fan of Ward's but I can't trust any individual that would choose to align them self with such a shady character. I honestly think he has cheated at some point.

I have a feeling Floyd is going to try to make this Mayweather VS Baldomir 2. I think the right thing for him to do is not run like in the Baldomir fight, but the easy W for him is to just keep moving. He's made a few comments that this fight is going to be different because he can do more and one of those things is move.
Hopefully its not a boring fight, but I have a feeling this is going to be like the baldomir fight and the best chance is Maidana is more of a bull than baldomir and Mayweather does not have the same legs he had during the baldomir fight.
