Been sayin it ever since Saturday night. A future jr welterweight beat up on a jr lightweight. Size was a big factor. Crawford adjusted great, I'll give him that but you can't deny the size advantage. TC even said it himself. If Mikey Garcia had a pair, that fight would have went down instead of the one on Saturday.

it seems to me that gamboa needs to take out the guys early or he's in trouble as fight goes on,but against a strong guy only, against ponce gamboa was just the bigger guy and of course faster, salido isn't really a strong puncher(more volume puncher with decent power),but I think if he faces someone like Garcia he 'll do good the first 4 or 5 rounds but once Garcia starts landing gamboa will start fading, like the punches from strong guys really get to him and then he's hesitant to throw his punches because he'll get countered, thats what it seems like to me,maybe he should go after guys like medez who don't have much power

So pretty much he had no reason to turn down the fight because Gamboa even said on twitter hed EVEN take less than Mike just to make the fight then he never spoke about it, but to me probably his people just wanted to steer him away from the fight and plain lied to him to protect him.
