Been sayin it ever since Saturday night. A future jr welterweight beat up on a jr lightweight. Size was a big factor. Crawford adjusted great, I'll give him that but you can't deny the size advantage. TC even said it himself. If Mikey Garcia had a pair, that fight would have went down instead of the one on Saturday.

it seems to me that gamboa needs to take out the guys early or he's in trouble as fight goes on,but against a strong guy only, against ponce gamboa was just the bigger guy and of course faster, salido isn't really a strong puncher(more volume puncher with decent power),but I think if he faces someone like Garcia he 'll do good the first 4 or 5 rounds but once Garcia starts landing gamboa will start fading, like the punches from strong guys really get to him and then he's hesitant to throw his punches because he'll get countered, thats what it seems like to me,maybe he should go after guys like medez who don't have much power

Could be right but we won't know because Garcia acted like a coward when it came to fighting Gamboa

Well that's it then no more being champion for him .

A new weight class and a new trainer can both do wonders.

Wasn't boxers camps multiple sources confirmed what he said, Mikey didn't want any part of it because someone was telling him Gamboa was making more money which was a confirmed lie. So pretty much he had no reason to turn down the fight because Gamboa even said on twitter hed EVEN take less than Mike just to make the fight then he never spoke about it, but to me probably his people just wanted to steer him away from the fight and plain lied to him to protect him.

others have also said gamboa wanted more money,so gamboa said it wasn't true, that doesn't prove anything, like I said it's all he said this and i said that, why should we believe gamboa and not Garcia.??...I honestly see no reason why Garcia should fear him,it's not like gamboa is hard to hit,he gets hit and goes down too,he's fast but nothing that would make me think he's unbeatable, don't forget gamboa has had trouble with making fights before, against rios he didn't want it,against lopez he said he wouldn't feel protected in that fight because theres more money in a Puerto rican than a Cuban,so although arum had a lot to do with fight not happening, gamboa wasn't so sure of it either,,,i don't believe these guys at all when its all I said this, you said that,i never believe it when a fighter claims the other is ducking him, because no one but them and mangers, promoters know the truth and each will protect his own, speak up for his fighter...but hey,who wouldn't want to see that fight,it would be a good one

he needs someone to teach him to throw better,he throws all wild at times and leaves himself open, but he's always fought that way and another thing he hardly goes to the body
