I'm sorry... I've followed boxing as far back as Ali/Frazier/Foreman/Norton primes, and I don't recall a pair of fights so poorly matched up, unwarranted, making ZERO sense, as Garcia & Peterson. I just pulled up Ring ****zine 140 Class just to see what other options are out there, who didn't just fight. They list:

Zab Judah at 5 (hell he's a better option shot even for Peterson)
Jessie Vargas 24-0 (9 KO) 8th
Victor Postol 25-0 (10 KO) 9th
Khabib Allakhverdiev 19-1 (9 KO) 10th
No Salka or Santana... Let me check elsewhere:

Its a disgrace that DG didnt give Hererra an immediate rematch as he lost by a mile, but this is just pure comedy....in a bad way.
