Thats how these guys are. Ward is no different. He wants froch but doesn't want to fight at wembley, whats the point?
Get the heck outta here with this religious fighter crap. Could it be they are just secure in who they are and they know boxing doesn't make them? I understand how Ward feels cause boxing at the end of the day is just a small part of who he is. @ this clown trying to blame religion for a fighter not fighting. Shows you know nothing about what the guy believes.

I know your a big Ward fan but no way in hell he does

His biggest claim to fame is winning the super 6. He fought 2 fighters that were replacements, Allan Green and Sakio Bika. He never traveled outside his own country and 4 of the 5 fights were in his home state

If you take Froch and Ward off each others resumes, Froch still has Bute who was undefeated and tied with Ward as #1 168, undefeated Pascal, undefeated Dirrel and undefeated Groves by KO 2x.

Just reading through this thread, it's easy to see why Ward feels this way about the sport of boxing.

It would be a crying shame if he were to retire, he is imo currently the best boxer in the world and would beat each and everyone of the top names between middleweight and light heavyweight.

Both of them have impressive resumes, a lot of common opponents too. Froch has more names and fights than Ward though.

I see the argument for both cases

bute was tied for #1 with ward

bute is the most overrated fighter of the last 10 years. it's not my fault you guys overrated the hell out of him.

george groves. he almost knocked froch out in the first fight. froch was much more hurt than groves was when he was stopped. let's also not forget that it's george groves we are talking about.

dirrell beat the hell out of froch, let's be realistic. he landed the more effective punches. he hurt him. he behaved like a girl, but he was tattooing froch.

pascal is an OK win, but he's nobody to write home about.

green was an actual SS replacement. bika was never in the tournament.

froch lost to the two best fighters he faced. ward freaking destroyed him, and he lost a close fight to kessler. he beat kessler in the rematch, but that was when he was seriously faded.

I'm not blaming religion , I'm blaming the mentality of highly religious fighters to being overly entitled.

All this dude has done is crap on Froch, his big fights his career, than wants to fight him, but not in wembley, he refuses VADA testing, won't honor his contract with Goosen that has made him bank, he's in active because of it and complains and cries as if he's a victim in every interview.

That's how a lot of religious people are. They think everything and Everyone needs to fold to there beliefs and wants.
