Andre Ward: "If this is the end of my career, there's life after boxing!"

Ward was interviewed in the sky sports toe to toe podcast.. he basically accuses Froch of ducking him when Froch said he's insignificant in the sport and not a draw.. and then Ward goes on to duck and dive the issue of him traveling to UK for a massive Wembley fight cos we know he's a hometown hog and has been his whole career.. great fighter but a hometown hog no doubt.

Ward says "if i had to walk from boxing today it's not ideal but i'm secure in my legacy. i got a family and there's other things i enjoy outside of boxing. So unfortunately if this is it, it's it. i don't think it is but at the end of the day im secure in what i've put into the sport of boxing!"

June 11 podcast, Ward talks at around 26 min.. here's the main page of podcast:

disappointing to hear him considering this could be the end. Hopefully he gets his business settled and continues to fight. The sport suffers when one of the 2-4 best boxers in the world isn't fighting regulalrly.

Ward keeps sinking and making himself look more ****** with each interview. Dude never recovered from taking them L's against Goosen.

It's kind of telling that no one will really end up caring all that much.

I'd say he doesn't get into the HOF - can't ride the tournament into the HOF imo.

Religious fighters are the worst, seems like all these guys cry and beg all the time, and act overly entitled to whatever it is they want.

Ward amd Guerrero can hit the bricks for all I care, and I use to be a big ward fan.

Sadly not many will miss him, for being such a talented fighter

I doubt he retires and if he does it's ridiculous and there's no way he's done enough to get into the hall of fame.

How's longs he been at the championship level like 5 years? 3 of those he's been sitting around doing nothing.
