Comments Thread For: Pulev: I'm Ready To Replace Klitschko as Champion

As previously reported on krikya360.com, during Tuesday's IBF purse bid - K2 Promotions beat out Sauerland Event to secure the promotional rights to the heavyweight clash between IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko and mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev. The fight is tentative for September 6th at the O2 World Arena, a 16,000-seat venue in Hamburg, Germany.

Pulev can harbour his dreams.should he lose though he will return to the division and be held in high regard like guys such as Chagaev,Povetkin and Chisora did after Klitschko losses, fearless guys unafraid to put it all on the line, leaving everything in the ring.

Shouid be semi competitive until the mid-latter rounds upon Kubrat tiring.I expect points win,Pulev is a tough man,far tougher than some of these guys like Fury,Pianeta,Mormeck and Haye.

Pulev is a classy opponent for Wlad.

He is. And good on Wlad for taking the fight fairly quickly when it became clear he wasn't getting Stiverne. There were people saying Wlad was ducking Pulev but it appears Wlad genuinely just wanted unification, didn't get it.

With that said, Wlad by KO.

It's a pity Pulev didn't get to fight a good warm up fight like Deontay Wilder before this big fight with Wladimir.

Wilder is too busy fighting final eliminators with Zelenoff

In fairness the coveted WBU title is no joke.

A fight between Wlad and Pulev should bring a ton of viewers. Two white highly-regarded heavyweights going at it. Remember how well the Povetkin fight did? Both were paid handsomely. This one should be just as successful.

Wlad won't KO Pulev. The guy has an iron jaw. He's as tough as Wach was on steroids, IMO.
I watched his fight with Ustinov, who is slow but a big puncher and weighs over 21st. He got every ounce of that 21st into one big right hand that caught Pulev flush, coming in. Pulev's legs dipped momentarily but he recovered in an instant and carried on fighting as though nothing had happened.
I know the reference to a warm up with Wilder is a joke, and I get it. But seriously, after seeing Pulev take that shot from Ustinov I honestly think he could walk right through Wilder's hardest punches without any problem at all.
Wlad will win this one on points, IMO, and it will be his toughest fight for a long time.
