To be honest i can't tell who hits harder because your right Ruslan looks like he hits hard too, but i'm just saying what Algieri said about Maidana. i wish i could find the interview because the interviewer mentions they had another guy come on the show and he said Maidana hits harder in sparring than all the fighters he fought in the pro's.

You didnt have to say it for us to see what you were insinuating. And who said they were sparring with 16 oz gloves? So lets say they did spar with 16oz. Hes saying Maidana STILL hits harder.

Khan damn near got knocked out by Maidana and he would have been knocked out if the ref had not protected him by constantly breaking fighters that were not tied up. If they fought now Maidana would be the betting favorite. How can Mayweather duck a fighter who never beat a welterweight????? Khan is ranked at 9th in the welterweight division by Ring and Ring is owned by his promoter. That means there are 8 welterweights ahead in line to fight Mayweather. Mayweather ALWAYS FIGHTS WORLD CHAMPIONS. Khan needs to win a world title before anyone accuses Mayweather of ducking his glass jawed self. Let Khan win a world welterweight title if he can and then he has earned the Mayweather fight. Khan is never going to be this pound for pound number one fighter you think he is.

Maidana would stop Algieri. That's a testament to how limitied Provo is. And Provo hits hard, but why are people surprised Maidana hits harder? He's more accurate and can time his shots also. That makes a big difference. Provo just wings em and hopes to land. Maidana does tha to, but not the whole time.

Maidana should beat up Robert Guerrero

Let's be real here, of course Algieri is going to be biased towards his sparring partner and fellow Argentinian.

Why are people surprised? He was asked a questioned and he is genuine in answering from what I could see. Boxer spar a lot of people over the years so they don't have to lie "Out of respect" to anyone. Just because Provo looks like he hits harder on TV doesn't mean he actually does.
