I heard they both had a good spar, I didn't hear anything about Chino seriously hurting or dropping Algieri at any point.

Personally I don't believe Chino hits harder than Ruslan with 16 Oz gloves on especially after Algieri was put on his ass in the first round.

Yea cause that automatically makes Provodnikov the harder hitter. Just cause he dropped Algieri. Theres many reasons why a fighter gets dropped.

Also, you have to consider Maidana is bigger than Provodnikov. So he's a hard hitter and a bigger guy.

He used to train at RGBA and he sparred with Maidana back when Maidana was still a 140 pounder.

They probably did spar. I know Algieri trained over in Oxnard for awhile. That's why Garcia said he wouldn't be surprised if Algieri won.

I believe it. Fighters don't always spar with 16 oz gloves either for whatever that's worth.

If that was Chino in there against Algeiri I doubt Chris would've lasted the distance
