No arum does not take his cut out of the gaurentee. That's a huge common miconception on this forum.

Looks like TR and Pac management are all over the place with his fights. Not only do they miss the mark on his match ups they do not even see how Donaire can help this fight. It will not be in the venue it will be for PPV. That is why Money does so well he know that will give him the extra boost in numbers. The Maidana fight did not do a mil but they did not promote that fight at all. Which is why he is picking an opponent not to not make that mistake again.

You're correct. Arum takes the gross revenue from all of the proceeds minus whatever the networks take out of the PPV, I believe.
