They would likely put a stipulation in the contract that he has to keep winning against big names to earn all that. Once he loses they would probably drop him or pay him a lot less, yet they would have spoiled it for Bob. Dirty tricks is all this is, imo.
Ahh I see. I just googled the story behind Jr and Haymon talks. Figured there had to be something behind Jrs sudden issue with the contract extension.

Obviously the meaning of loyalty means something different in your world. Because here in America and the rest of the world someone that you are loyal to will be loyal back with your best interests in mind. Why would anybody be loyal to someone that is screwing you over. Damn you must be loyal to some shady ass people if you think Pac is being loyal to Arum for resigning.

          Good for Chavez.

I understand that promoters want to sign guys to extensions because with a lot of fighters promoters invest a lot of money, often times losing money in building up certain fighters. They usually recover the money towards the end of the contract.
But with Chavez, Arum has never lost money. Chavez Jr. has always been money in the bank, so Chavez Jr. owes Arum nothing.

Glad to see everyone exposing Bob Arum and Top Rank...now someone needs to expose Schaeffer for his b.s. while De La Hoya was gone. All these other promoters have been working with each other except (Dibella &arum / Cotto Martinez) Golden boy
It really is up to the 2 biggest stars in boxing the past 6-7 years : Mayweather n Pacquiao
Too bad Pacquiao is too loyal for his own good (not business smart) to make the first stand. I dont know why he doesnt realize that Michael KOCKS is a puppet for Arum. Pacquioas star has dwindled ever since that p.o.s. got hired undercover by Bob
Too bad Timmy resigned too quickly, cuz Mikey Garcia & Chavez Jr would be huge losses

Chavez jr dosen't owe arum anything, might as well say that arum owes chavez jr. A fighter who puts his health at risk to earn money dosen't owe anything to the promotor who profits on his hard work.
Thank you! Couldn't have said it better myself

At least Mayweather is owning his own destiny owns his own promotions and is his own boss. But its ok for you to see recycled fight good for you.

Now Chavez gets respect even if he ducks Golovkin... Nice...

You suck ggg dyck even though he clearly DUCKED Ward! He has YET to respond back to Ward! My man Ward said HBO is trying to "Force feed us ggg into a star" And that he wasn't there yet.

He also said "GGG said he would fight anybody from 154-175 and anybody does mean ANYBODY." He said they could fight at 168 so what did ggg team say after Ward told hussle boss that? Not a damn thing.

He can fight jr. at 168 on HBO/PPV but can't fight Ward who also fights for HBO is at 168, and is looking for an opponent?

So you support ggg avoiding Ward now?

Junior wants to join Stevenson and Floyd in the HBO ducking brigade. If HBO has a fighter that can whoop yo ass, haul out to Showtime baby!
