Yes, you deduced correctly, Sherlock Holmes. Al Haymon has already offered JCC Jf a multi-million dollar contract. About $47M IIRC. Ridiculous amount for someone of Chavez' ability, but i see this more as Haymon/GBP trying to get at Bob than actually valuing Chavez so highly. They would likely put a stipulation in the contract that he has to keep winning against big names to earn all that. Once he loses they would probably drop him or pay him a lot less, yet they would have spoiled it for Bob. Dirty tricks is all this is, imo.

Obviously the meaning of loyalty means something different in your world. Because here in America and the rest of the world someone that you are loyal to will be loyal back with your best interests in mind. Why would anybody be loyal to someone that is screwing you over. I understand that promoters want to sign guys to extensions because with a lot of fighters promoters invest a lot of money, often times losing money in building up certain fighters. They usually recover the money towards the end of the contract.
But with Chavez, Arum has never lost money. Chavez Jr. has always been money in the bank, so Chavez Jr. owes Arum nothing.

Chavez jr dosen't owe arum anything, might as well say that arum owes chavez jr. A fighter who puts his health at risk to earn money dosen't owe anything to the promotor who profits on his hard work.
