Golovkin isn't even a Top Rank fighter. Why can't this fight be made without Chavez Jr. signing an extension? Are they going to shelf him until he signs one?

Never had that much interest in JCC Jr.'s career...too many Andy Lee's and Peter Manfredo Jr.'s in there for my taste.
It's surprising he'd fight Golovkin at this point in his career, but hey, if he wants the fight, make the fight.
Curious to see what Haymon/GBP have planned for him.

Welcome to every thread on Boxingscene. It's like the Godwin's Law of boxing, as an online discussion of boxing grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Floyd Mayweather approaches one.Last edited by anonymous2.0; 04-29-2014, 06:07 PM.

If Arum doesn't wanna make the fight then just fight some bum to fullfil your contract. Once thats up go ahead and fight GGG. Let Zanfer and K2 do the promoting.

Rob Donald Sterling Arum is ruining boxing.
Rob Donald Sterling Arum should be banned from boxing. This weasel is trying to sign PAC to a 5 fight contract to keep his dying company alive. PAC better not sign that **** or I won't respect him anymore. Why stay when there is no more fights for you to have when u beat up all at Flop Rank fighters. Rob Arum needs to die this little fat weasel.

Too bad Pacquaio is too loyal and too trusting towards the Snake. Oh well, if he will be guaranteed $15 to 20 mil a fight, then he is alright. Not like Chavez and Mikey Garcia that were fighting a lot less than they deserve that's why they are not signing an extension, smart move.
