These guys have been loyal to him. They just want to move on now. The loyal thing to do is let him fight one last time and move on, not try to force him to stay under your banner.

Uh no! It's called loyalty that third world countries are well known for. Which I am 100% sure you know what the meaning of.

excellent move by Chavez. It doesn't take a genius to realize that JCC doesn't need ARum anymore.

Its just like pro leagues that have a slotted salary cap system. Since there is no negotiation, why hire an agent at 3% when you can hire a plian ole lawyer to negotiate the same deal for 1-1.5%.

once again, if pac moves to golden boy, who the fk do they have? nobody bar canelo, the rest of the guys will not break 500k ppv buys, broner? khan? there are two big names thats it

floyd will not ever fight pac and he belongs to himself which he says loudly
And what about the tax troubles cause arum and koncz? What about vision quest warning? He would make even more as a free agent

Props to Chavez Jr. (I can't believe I'm saying this) for refusing to give in to Arum's blackmail. You're a promoter, you make fights. You can't force your fighters to sign extensions everytime they want big fights.

              Smart

I dont know why Floyd's name is being mentioned in this thread, he wasnt in the article.

With that being said Arum is known for underpaying fighters.

There was a time where Pac was bringing in 1 million plus PPV buys consecutively, yet was only walking away with 18 million to 20 million. That's ridiculous.

Arum does a 55-45 split in favor of him for PPV split.

Golden Boy does an 80-20 Split in favor of the fighter. Which is why Canelo walked away with 10 million from the Angulo fight, despite only 350K buys.

Arum's roster is exploding, and Im happy to see it.

There is nothing loyal about what Pac is doing. He's getting robbed and will continue to be robbed until he mans up.

With his celebrity, numbers, purses, theres no reason why he should be in debt. Hes only in debt because he wasnt making what he was worth.

Everyone who's ever left Arum has gone on to make career money.

Chavez jr dosen't owe arum anything, might as well say that arum owes chavez jr. A fighter who puts his health at risk to earn money dosen't owe anything to the promotor who profits on his hard work.

I believe that's how Pacquaio feels about Arum when he run for Congress, I believe that Arum helped him financially that's why he is loyal to these sorry ass Promoter. With Chavez and Mikey, the snake is flat out scamming them (which he is still doing with Manny) and they have all the rights to contest what is their rights. Manny is set until he retires, $15 to $20 mil a fight until he retires? Why not? If he leaves TR even for one fight, he is not guaranteed a big money fight against Floyd.

Doesnt seem like Arum knows the meaning of loyalty. Oscar, Floyd, Donaire, Garcia, and now Chavez.... ???

And hell, even if Pac wanted to be "Loyal" to Arum, he could go the Cotto route and be a free agent and still work with bob on a fight by fight basis, thus, leaving his options open.... Wouldnt that be the intelligent thing to do? Or does loyaly ***** intelligence?

were they doing the same when guerrerro tried to break his contract with golden boy?
Guerrero wasnt/ isnt signed to Mayweather promotions. Maybe you meant Golden Boy Fans?

                    This here.

If Jr defects - which now looks likely - and with Pacquiao's impeding retirement, GBP may end up holding all the marbles. I smell an end to the Cold War coming soon..

Go at it alone, like Cotto and May.

You can make more money on your own, so can Packy. So was/is Cotto NOT loyal now that he is his own promoter?
