Dude is popular enough to be independent and fight on a per fight bases, and this dude gone and sign 5 fights contract? This was an opportunity to dictate his finances and make lucrative bouts...c'mon, this can't be serious, dude....this dude...smdh.

That's all that needs to be said here. Manny Pacquiao has a name and a belt, he should dictate what he do on a fight by fight basis like Mayweather does but he will be able to work with both sides because he doesn't have hard feelings with Bob Arum.

Some people need to be honest with themselves, Pacquiao is too dumb to be thinking about what will be the best for his career.

If he sign an extension, he deserves no respect and I am not watching him fight the same fighters over and these boring personalities.

the fact that floyd has a problem with bob arum has no bearing on pacquiaos decision on who he wants to promote him.

Mikey Garcia is trying to get out of his contract on a multitude of things, like how what's being made off of him is not being disclosed and a host of other things. Pacquiao gets screwed because of course he can't count and he is borderline remedial at this point. Pacquiao is scared to ask questions..

People with only a Floyd fight in mind are being short sited here. The hell with a Floyd fight, it ain't happening. However, with him signing an extension, it means that we will see him in more recycled fights. 5 fights? Who does Top Rank even have at 147 or 140 that he hasn't faced already? Bob killed the biggest payday Manny could ever have, and you see nothing wrong with that? All these fighters have beef with Arum and either have left, tried to leave, or is trying to leave, and you see nothing wrong with Arum? Floyd doesn't want to make another cent for Bob Arum, and after reading that article, you still don't know why. that fight sailed years ago when pacman was knocking every **** out, floyd put his **** inbetween his legs and cried in a high pitched squeal " c'mon man, he can knock cotto and mosley down????"

bottom line is mayweather bricked it. its no surprise tho, there is always an excuse with that guy. could have had some quality fighters on his welterweight resume if he had some balls.

Floyd had these roadblocks listed from day #1. Go check out video clips prior to the 2009 negotiations. It's all there. Floyd was just waiting for the right time to bring them up.

- I don't like Arum (check Floyd's interviews in 2009)
- going on vacation (In 2008, done that before)
- has losses (said same about Mosley to delay that fight)
- I'm not interested in Manny fight (said same about Mosley to delay that fight)

- Must fight on May 2012 (Floyd couldn't predict going to jail)

Mayweather is by no means scared to fight Pac. Its all about Arum. If you so called boxing experts recall back in 2007 when Cotto was still under Arum and before PAC was even considered in the top fighter list. Everyone wanted the Mayweather vs Cotto fight to happen. Mayweather blew it off. People called him scared, said he was ducking Cotto. Cotto goes free agent a few years later, and what happens?? Floyd not only fought the guy but beat him. I'm no Mayweather fan, I'm actually a Cotto fan but these are the facts. Floyd aint scared to fight Pac, he just hates Arum that much!!
