I have no problem with Manny signing an extension.

So long as part of the contract stipulates that Bob will get him that Floyd fight.

Its really simple.

Pac can tell Bob that if he cant guarantee him the Floyd fight, he will let the contract expire and try to make the fight on his own. Afterwards they can talk about an extension again.

How can Bob guarantee him the Floyd fight? Well he can make the fight happen by making Floyd an offer he cannot refuse. This would force Shaefer's hand even though he doesnt want to work with Arum, Floyd aint about to say no to a record purse. Or Arum can go through Oscar. He is the promoter, he can figure it out. That is his job.

I believe Pac should at least try out free agency if Arum cant guarantee him that fight.
