He's also never been quite the same after the Margacheato fight. Guerrero beat Berto, but had nothing vaguely resembling champion skills against Mayweather. Alvarez looked like a big, slow, frustrated and star-struck kid, not quite ready for the big leagues. We all know Mayweather cherry-picks his opponents. To even suggest that he takes on all top-tier competition is a farce. If he would so easily outmatch Pacquiao, which I doubt, why not fight him? He has surely taken on lesser opponents before.
If Floyd's opponents are not top-tier, then what are Manny's opponents?

The fact that this tool is a member of the BWAA tells you all you need to know about how that organization has gone down the crapper.

He’s got a track record that stretches farther than my 45 years, and his contractual relationships with guys like Manny Pacquiao and Tim Bradley, among others, seem to indicate that he’ll be relevant on the sport’s top shelf for just as long as he wants to be.

But for crying out loud, he’s got to get over this Mayweather thing.

I mean, I get it. They used to work together, now they don’t. He used to say Floyd was one of the best fighters he’d ever seen, but now he’s a coward focused only on money and remaining unbeaten.

It’s a lot like commentary that could be applied to any relationship when it veers from hot to cold.

What starts out as “She’s wonderful and attractive and I hang on her every word” quickly deteriorates to “I was never that into her in the first place, I just wanted to get in good with her sister.”

Still, after a while, those principals do move on to other things.

That doesn’t seem to be the case with Bob, though.

Wherever and whenever he gets a chance, there’s either a cleverly veiled or completely outspoken shot across the Mayweather bow – and it continued well into the night on Saturday at the MGM Grand, after Pacquiao and Bradley went another 12 entertaining rounds. Every half ******ed person should have figured Bob " the invisible stadium maker " arum has been the reason this fight ( along with Nonito-Mares, Juanma-gamboa, ect) hasn't been made. Every ******* shoud hate Bob but their to busy blaming floyd for everything bacause of sensitivity to his bad guy persona ( a character he created to sell more tickets)

*******s ask yourself this. . . Has floyd fought ANY top rank fighter since the split? NOPE
Is pacquiao fighting golden boy fighters? nope

seems to me that staging a fight between a TR and a GBP fighters without involving floyd is not so simple isn't it? No ****! oscar was bob's best pupil before mayweather and they both left him and became the faces of boxing. Guess who's bitter???? Bobby

so we have 3 problems. bob vs floyd, bob vs shaefer/oscar and hbo vs showtime. . .

solution? pacquiao coming to his senses and leaving bob for good, as cotto, oscar and floyd did and look at where they at now

We all know Manny Pacquiao is the P4P one he doesn't duck anyone and he doesn't try to short change people as badly as Fraud Duckweather.

Ooh I don't deal with Bob Arum..
                      Ooh take da test
Yo I wired him a offer illegally and he never accepted why he no accept the offer

Full of so much bull****, **** off Fraud boxing would be better without you.
What a bunch of whiners you Pacbums are to bad Pac was afraid of needles he could of fought Mayweather a long time ago when both were in the prime but he refused to take the test. Now that he got KO'd by Marquez they cry foul. Pac fights fighters just coming off loss with catchweights fighting leftovers.... So I guess the Rios fight were the guys is coming up in weight never fighting in 147 and coming off a bad loss is better than a guy who has won 4 straight fights 3 by KO ya your a very logical person I see must have the brain size of a flea....
