But I know that Floyd waited his whole career to be in the spotlight like Oscar, to be a diva like Oscar.
When Oscar refused to do an unofficial weigh in in their fight (Not for the first time) it seems Floyd followed suite.
He only started doing unofficial weigh in's again when dribbling ******s started to say he weighed 160+lbs unofficially.

Physically Floyd isn't stronger than Maidana, or virtually any fighter he has fought recently. Not Ortiz, Cotto, SSM or probably even Guerrero. The real difference is that because Floyd is so well conditioned the strength he does have he can use for the entirety of the 12 rounds, whereas when these guys get's tired their strength diminishes or they can only summon the energy to use it sparingly. That's the key difference. In a general sense though i would say we are also underestimating Floyd's strength aswell. Though he isn't as strong as these guys, he isn't that far off.

But you don't know that, it is only your opinion on the matter.

Floyd is obviously extremely insecure and also extremely egotistical.
The reason he was jealous of Oscar throughout their careers is because he wanted everything Oscar had.
I don't know that for a fact but it seems pretty obvious to me considering Oscar had not only done it previously but more importantly done it for the their fight. It's no coincidence he stopped being weighed unofficially from his very next fight onward until the Ortiz fight.
Floyd has no reason to hide his weight. We know what his weight is.

A few things:
- Floyd did a weigh in for theatrical purposes against the Big Show. He was 159 clothed and with shoes on. Keep in mind this was during the longest layoff of his career. Sure it may be bull****, by why fake the weight? If anything for theatrical purposes they would fake it on the low end.
- His "official weigh ins" for the two fights at 54 were below the limit.
- Every fight night weigh in he has had at any weight (including the lower ones) indicate he doesn't gain much weight overnight.
- His 30 day weigh ins show he is only ever a couple of pounds over the limit, and that's at a time when he's only 60% done with training camp.
What else do people need to see?

He didn't weigh in unofficially for Oscar, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Cotto or Guererro.
He weighed in unofficially at 149 against Baldomir (Fight before Oscar), he weighed 150 unofficially for Ortiz and 150 unofficially for Canelo.
His 30 day weigh in weight for Guererro was 148 lbs and his 30 day weigh in weight for Maidana is 149 lbs.
His fight with Oscar in 2007, he weighed in for the weigh in at 150 lbs.
His fight with Cotto in 2012, he weighed in for the weigh in at 151 lbs.
It's not rocket science.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 04-15-2014, 07:59 AM.
