Just get Kov another fight. He keeps winning and Stevenson keeps winning then itll happen. After all this hype if Kov loses then he loses more than the fight IMO. Plenty of comp out there. Cloud, Dawson, Bute, Pascal are just a few of the big names

True. The thing a lot are missing in this but Duva realizes is that Stevenson is being sold out for his titles to Hopkins.

Been noticing Haymon's scheme of late. He has a marquee fighter, and then he'll sign his potential opponent some time in advance, so when he matches them up for a 'big fight' he'll keep everything in house. Everything will be in order for the marquee fighter to win but in case they lose, Haymon wins regardless (see Broner-Maidana, Garcia-Matthysse et al.)

Duva contradicted herself,first she said that Stevenson never wanted the fight with Kovalev,now she said Stevenson agreed to fight Fonfara next then Kovalev in the fall but Al Haymon came in and ruined things.Also the fight still has the possibility of happening because Stevenson did not sign a multi-fight deal with Showtime yet.I hope Stevenson chooses Hopkins after Fonfara,the hell with that over hyped johnny come lately Kovalev,he could wait in back of the line.Hopkins is a proven legend,while Kolalev hasn't done nothing special in the light heavyweight division and chose to fight Cleverly over Hopkins even though he was mandatory for Hopkins titles.Another reason i want Stevenson to pick Hopkins is too piss off you people that over hyped Kovalev and give him a pass for not taking on Hopkins,and give GGG a pass for cherry picking Chavez junior instead of him choosing Ward.

IF she does indeed, then I would stop talking and take action. As for Stevenson, Kovalev said it best at the end of his recent fight in AC. Adonis clearly doesn't want to fight Sergey.
The guy is willing to put his WBO title on the line in a unification bout, and then you turn and pursue the winner out of a 50 year old and a 16 win title holder. Everyone knows the top dollar fight is Stevenson/Kovalev. That was hands down the fight everyone wanted to see. It's all people spoke about at the end of 2013. But Adonis ran away. #Notarealchamp

Hopkins is a bigger Draw,just look at the stadium in his last fight?You`ll see that it was packed.I've read that in Kovalev last fight,the ticket sales were poor.And Hopkins is not a ordinary 49 year old:the Guy is still fighting at a top level,he is ranked above Kovalev,Has a far and away better resume then Kovalev,has a major title unlike Kovalev,and many people would pick Hopkins to beat Kovalev.Kovalev is the real ducker for not taking on Hopkins when he was mandatory for Hopkins belt,he chose Cleverly instead and Cleverly is a mediocre at best fighter.
