Yes, lad, you are a fan of boxing and a reasonable person.
Your logical construct clearly shows that...

im a fan, but i dont expect boxers to give a **** about what i want, why? because of you. one second you are calling fighters punk ass *****es, the next second you want them to pass up on millions to make YOU happy. really, dude? its unreasonable.

this is their careers, they have the right to do as they please. if they dont make the meaningful fights it will effect their legacy, but thats their choice to make. you dont call the shots, dude. if you want to, go fetch the watson twins their coffee and in a few years perhaps you will work yourself up to where your opinion means something. lol.

to wrap up this masterpiece of a post i will point out that even if we ignore the money kovalev still isnt the best fight for stevenson. kovalev hasnt earned it, fool hasnt fought a single top 5 light heavyweight and he wants to leapfrog all the legit contenders and fight the top dog? bull****.

beating campillo, cleverly and sillakh doesnt compare to what pascal, dawson, hopkins etc have done. yes they have lost, but thats because they fought the best. they fought at A level, kovalev hasnt.

its funny that people act as if stevenson not fighting kovalev is whats wrong with boxing when its the exact opposite. fighters being hyped up and handed opportunities they havent earned is whats wrong with boxing, this pampered kovalev dude makes amir khan look like marvin hagler.

he is the punk ass ***** for ducking all the guys ahead of him for a stevenson shot, why does he do it? so HE can cash in before he gets exposed. if he thought he could earn the shot i he would have, instead he is trying to talk his way into a fight he doesnt deserve, just like his stablemate stevens did with GGG. diffrence is GGG didnt have a lot of options, stevenson does so kovalev can eat a d!ck.
cleverly was ranked #4 and campillo #3. also cloud was ranked #2 even though he clearly lost to campillo so do the math. the only guys ahead of kovalev were stevenson and hopkins but they don't have to fight him? also how did fonfarra the espn2 fighter leapfrog all those guys? how exactly did he earn his opportunity but kovalev didn't?

Kovalev went to the UK and dominated a title holder who beat Bellew before Stevenson did. If you tear down Kovalev's competition then you also tear down Stevenson's. Fact is you only get someone running away from a championship fight if he see's it as too much of a risk - Adonis doesn't like his chances against Kovalev, and he will lose soon to someone else, so Adonis bandwagon fans can have their cry and jump to their next hype job.

People need to calm down........remember when they forced Bradley to fight Alexander too early and Bradley himself said that it should marinate for a while so they could MAXIMIZE the revenue? Well smart fans you should realize that all Stevenson is doing is letting Kovalev get bigger and more casual fans. Most casual fans dont know Kovalev yet, but they will by the end of this year and that is when you can sale this has a ppv fight and get 300+ buys has opposed to the south of 250,000 buys you would get if you put it on now. The whole goal in boxing is to maximize revenue and sale when the demand is at the highest. Interest in this fight still has to grow with the casual fan. It'll happen.

If you aint fighting on ppv, you ain't maximizing your revenue. Especially for a lineal championship fight.

There isn't enough room for everyone to get a PPV, nor is there the interest. What's going to happen is that someone will lose before the "mega" fight happens and it'll kill the interest.

this is one of the greatest ducks of boxing history, no doubt about it. floyd set the blueprint, stevenson - another woman beater coincidentally followed suit.....it must be part of their heart to go against a real man with skills, will and power they have never seen.

Stevenson knows he would get knocked around for as long as it lasted and would need to be carried out on a stretcher.

He knows kovalev is an ice cold killer. Its that simple.

Stevenson is one of the worst people ever. Pimp/Peado/Rapist/Woman-beater and a fight ducker to boot. I was looking forward to KOvalev whipping him more than any other fight, other than Pacquiao Mayweather.
