To prevent such a warefare, he'll have to have some power to discourage Jesus from wading in through his punches. Absent such power, he must be quick with his hands and feet. But can he be nimble enough with those aging legs? That is something we still have to see. MAB's three fights immediately preceeding this one cannot be held up as indications of whatever quickness (or lack of it) he still has in those legs. Those did not require him to display too much feet and body movement. He didn't have to look for Erik and Erik did not have to look for him-- they knew each other enough. They were mostly planting their feet on the canvass and ****ing. As for the other two fights, I think he would have won those if he just merely somnambulated.

Good insight buddy. I think chavez has the upper hand in a phonebooth fight because he has the stronger punches. Damn, i'm really bias. And i like to think that MAB is well prepared for this fight that he conditioned himself to last 12 rounds but I say chavez has become stronger in a higher division while mab's power is that of a featherweight. I think the best way for MAB to win this fight is to stay outside but Chavez will be chasing him and won't care if he receives punches as long as he connect one or two power punches of his.
