I think it is a huge task for Barrera who never fought at 135.
Chavez gave Morales all he could handle even though he injured his right hand early in the fight.

Barrera, a superior techinician,
Chavez, bigger and stronger brawler,

who wins this fight and how?



I pick Barrera win by UD, he's gonna use his jab, quick combinations all night, and stay away from brawling with Chavez.
But if Chavez lands a big punch like the one he landed against Hernandez in the 12th round, it'll probably drop Barrera...

I'm picking Chavez by split decision, but it's a toss-up. It's not a fight I'd bet on, though. This is a big step up in competition for Barrera from his last couple of fights, and I think Chavez will pull a slight upset. I really look forward to this fight, and I believe it's going to be on HBO, not PPV. Can anyone confirm that?

Ive said so many times that Chaves is super underrated. He will beat MAB and control the fight but I have a feeling that this will be one of those kind of Oscar vs Sturm fights when we all know who won but the famous guy in the new division got the win

i havent seen chavez vs morales but on boxrec, the scores were 118-108 117-109 115-112, cept for that last score he doesnt seem that morales had any problem what so ever, could anyone upload the fight for me? btw i pick barrera to be to fast and pick jesus apart with counter punchs and work him over with body shots
