What does "rocked by ChopChop" mean? That floyd took some good punches from a good fighter and still won convincingly? You know what they call that? A good experience. As I said: ALMOST all in their prime. Do you remember what happened to Chavez in the Morales fight? are you that much of a boxing fan?? Or just a records-checker?

SOOOO, again: name me the group that KT beat that is on par with that. A 40 yr old JCC with 120 fights? WHO?

Listen. Ban who and what you want. I said that most white fighters get media and fan attention disproportionate to their accomplishments. Period. If that makes you cry, I can't help you. I was direct, honest, and did not use racial epithets or insult white fighters. I never said "white fighters suck" or any dumb crap like that. If you disagree, fine. That is your choice.

I still say that Castillo would throw Malignaggi the beating of his life. Casamayor would embarrass him. Corrales would walk him down and crush him.

Go back and read the FIRST post, and tell me how that is racist, mi hijo.

As a white guy, & boxing fan....I totally agree with the bolded part.
    It's a simple fact.

While I think it's totally non-newsworthy & think Duplicity is several days late with his rant.....I can't argue with his rant.

I also do not see where he has said anything ban-worthy.
I saw nothing insulting, to be honest.

Zab Judah and Sharmba Mitchell? Who else, again? Is that what you are telling me?

You have your points twisted. Sharmba who Floyd fought in November has nothing to do with Baldomir who Zab fought in January. Baldomir wasn't on the radar at that point. If Baldomir beats Gatti and Vargas beats Mosley, I have no problem with him going after Baldomir in the fall for the title. He better not duck Shane Mosley though once he gets by Judah. THe point is that he should have fought someone better than Mitchell in November but cna make up for it if he signs to face either Mosley or Margarito in the fall

"racially motivated.."? Clearly racial in nature. Clearly. As adults, we can address race, ethnicity, ***, politics, etc without getting our panties in a wad. Or, at least, one would hope.

          Motivated to do what?

Motivated towards examining the situation and giving more attention to some very deserving and under-appreciated Latino (and other ethnic) fighters? Yes.

Motivated towards just having a bunch of intellectual lightweights on a board develop knee-jerk reactions and call me childish names without giving it some thought? Ehhh, not so much.

But it is what it is.

Floyd got a $4 million dollar check for Sharmba. If any of you HONESTLY tell me that you are gonna reject being grossly overpaid at YOUR jobs, then you can criticize that decision. If not, it's hypocritical.

Zab was on the agenda next. He was the undisputed champion at welterweight. By all accounts, Zab had turned his 'life' around and was a legitimate challenge. Nobody was dis*****g that on jan 7th.

On jan 9th, FMJ COULD have said "I'm going after Baldomir". Now, would that be the toughest fight, or just an opportunistic one? I don't think PBF made a genuine effort at Baldomir because the Zab fight was just more money. 5 million guaranteed plus a cut of ppv. After watching the S&M **** that was the Gatti fight, I know that I would not be excited at the prospect of Mayweather/Baldomir. TaTa can't move. He can't punch. Where was that gonna go?

Zab is an *******. But he is a dangerous *******. He has a thunderous left hand and startling physical gifts. Saying that his chin is crystal is an insult to crystal. Still, he poses a greater challenge to FMJ than does Tata.

FYI: BigPoppaPump. After Zab disintegrated, Mayweather's camp contacted Ray Hatton, and they said they are not ready. They asked for a couple of tuneups and would be ready by end of year. Fair enough. Team PBF contacted Margarito's people (er, Arum) and Arum/Margarito didn't want to shelve the Gomez fight. That made no sense to me. Why not just pay Gomez some "get lost money" and take the MUCH bigger Mayweather fight five weeks later?? Margarito's camp was all set. He had JUST started training. The fight would be in the SAME city. ETC. That seemed like a perfect opportunity to get Antonio the spotlight fight he has been requesting/whining about. But Arum/AM declined it. I think I know why.

Alas, that AM/Gomez fight isn't selling ****. It's in a small room at the Aladdin and tickets are plentiful last I checked (Five minutes ago, lol). I can buy TEN consecutive seats in section 105 row Z. Entire rows are available in many sections. NOT SELLING WORTH A DAMN.

I don't want to hear from Antonio Margarito now. He has been less active than any other top fighter. He can sit and wait for the "perfect" fight all he wants. The shelf life of a welterweight expires at 34.

                  Name-calling is silly. Grow up.

It doesn't quite work that way, princess.

                    1) Mayweather has an unbeaten record and is the consensus best fighter in the sport, earning those laurels against consistently good opposition. That isn't "hype". That is MERIT. Michael Jordan or Larry Bird were not HYPED.

Apparently, you don't know what "hype" means. Promoting or publicizing extravagantly. Get it?

2)You completely lack credibility the way you transparently list more ********** than whites. LOL. Nice try, though. Add Calzaghe, Arnaoutis, et all. AS A START!!

                    3) Apparently, you are British and have a completely different perspective on who is getting pub. Codrington (and Haye for that matter) can walk into a room of boxing fans in America and go largely unrecognized.

                    4) If you TRULY don't care about this topic, why do you keep coming back to this thread to comment?? That seems strange to me.

                    I OWN your mind.

that #1 was such a terrible attempt at "owning his mind". being the best, doesnt mean that u cant b over-rated

over-rating someone, asu said, is an exaggeration, ppl r overrating PBF, even tho he is the best. get it?
