They've been pros nearly the same amount of time. GGG's best win in nearly a decade is Matthew Macklin. That's not a star quality resume. Who gives a **** if he's exciting to watch. So was Butterbean. F.uck outta here with that bull****.
Beating the best doesn't make you a star. Ask Rigondeaux. Who gives a **** if he's exciting to watch?!! Apparently boxing fans do (casual and hard core). It's the number of your fans (or in some cases haters) that shows if you a star or not. GGG can fight "taxi drivers" or "tomato cans", but still there will be more people who turn on their TVs to see his fights. Maybe it's sad, maybe it's wrong, but its true.

GGG was under a German promoter whose biggest star was Felix Sturm. For years GGG couldn't get fights he wanted and had to fight on undercards and his fights weren't even televised. I can say his career really started when he signed with K2 (November 2011).

If Ward wants to use that dumbas$ logic of waiting around moaning and groaning for GGG

Then fugg it this ain't a Ward charity it goes both ways.

Canelo said he's moving up eventually, why should GG move up for a lesser known fight. Canelo-GG would be a better fight

in the mean time Gg can work on get The Sergio fight.

If GG and Ward fight they fight, if not GG ain't ducking.
You can't kill me in a Ward-GGG debate if you're debating on behalf of GGG. They fought in the same Olympic Games. Been pros nearly the same amount of time. Ward has risen not only to the top of his division with wins over the likes of Kessler, Froch, Bika, AA, and Dawson. Hell, guys like Rodriguez, Green, and Miranda are arguably better than anybody on GGG's resume. He's also pretty much a concensus #2 P4P. In the same time, GGG's bes win is Matthew Macklin. There's no way to debate that on GGG's side. You likely would get multiple pats on the back from GGG fanboys. But in a fact based debate, there's no way to argue on behalf of the joke that's been GGG's career.

No, still today you have to hold/win 3 of the 4 major belts to be undisputed.

              And Ward never fought Bute.

Or in your crazy world does Ward get credit for a Froch win.

Being a man of God, Ward should not be so envious, he is becoming bitter and twisted.

I'm not arguing that GG is better then Ward. At 68 I'd favor Ward. 160 I'd favor GG.

I know Wards resume is > Gg

Dude, the average casual fan wouldn't know what GGG was if he walked into a room with a tee shirt on saying "I'm GGG." Same goes for Ward.

Ward acts like he's a star, but nobody wants to see his boring a$$. He had Dawson drop 7lbs and now wants to GGG to go up 8lbs. When GGG gets to 168, Ward will jump to 175 and still be hating.

I think a lotta that weight stuff is overblown. Weigh-ins are 30hrs+ before the fight. The Pac-DLH fight has the boxing world "weight drain" crazy nowadays. DLH was drained because he was a dumbass and attempted to rehydrate after HBO's unofficial weigh-in on the night of the fight.
