I agree with what you're saying and I think Floyd wins the fight but this is a dangerous fight IMO.
Yes age is a factor,, floyd like hopkins,,, someday it will catch up to them like it has every great fighter

And maidana has improved, i just think he is a little too flat footed to consistently find floyd, Hatton IMO had better skills at closing the distance, even though it cost him when floyd did the check hook on him...

But if floyd has aged and legs arent there to move around in the 2nd half of the fight, then i think floyd will have some real issues with maidana,,, If floyd fights like he did vs cotto and stays pretty stationary then maidana will be a very live dog, and you never know when an aging fighters legs are gonna go on him...

Just don't make any excuses after it happens.
Are you insinuating I don´t know the difference in caliber? Floyd is my favorite fighter, I have studied every single one of his fights, I know him better than most.

That has absolutely nothing to do with how and why Maidana will take him into deep waters.

Maidana will take him into deep waters because maidana is a warrior thats not just gonna fold early if things are going his way... The guy does great under adversity,, he may lose every round to floyd, but he will be hanging tough till the end,,,

          Again I agree.

Whilst I agree Hatton is better than Maidana (Doesn't hit as hard though) but Floyd isn't the same guy he was 7 years ago either.

Then what is it? Maybe I'm missing something.

If Mayweather was in steep decline I would believe Maidana's chances would be much better. I agree Mayweather is not what he was 7 years ago but I didn't see anything against Canelo that made him look like an old fighter.

At 37, it could happen at any time, I agree. This could be the time. But I haven't seen anything yet to indicate he's a 37 year old fighter.

I keep saying and others do to, that maidana has improved since khan and devon,, but now im thinking, how do we know for sure,, he has fought sotokarass and lopez,, not exactly the type of boxers you want to gauge maidana's improvement from,, would have liked to seen him vs judah or pauli and see how he has improved vs movers/boxers, instead of the ****ers like sotokarass and lopez....

People fall into Mayweathers game, and end up letting him get off first. When the fight gets to the point that Mayweather is constantly getting off first it's already over. Watching Guerrero let Mayweather tee off on him, and trying to counter, if not so idiotic would have been hilarious.

People keep saying Mayweather is fighting all these big hitter, tough guys etc. Naw. I don't see it. No one since Hatton has truly pressured Mayweather and Hatton has no power. Ortiz did and had success , but he's not that good and lost it mentally. Everyone else is a boxer first. None of them have been pressure fighters and none of them had Maidana power. Not Cotto, Not Canelo, Surely not Marquez and Guerrero. Mosley has power and showed it, but fell into Mayweathers game.

I truly don't think anyone Mayweather has faced has as much blunt straight forward power as Maidana. Maidana will dictate the fight and Mayweather will be trying to stay away and pot shot all night.

Not saying Maidana will win this fight, but he will have success and make Mayweather very uncomfortable at times.

That's a good point and something I have kept in mind.

I think all you need to do is watch him.

His punches are clearly shorter, his jab is clearly better as is his headmovement.

He's improved against flat footed fighters aswell.

It's pretty obvious to me he's not the fighter that fought Morales and Corley.
