Oh, yeah-stop the blood clot crying bwoy!
Real fighters? Do they fall under the category of failing to make weight and fighting dirty?

I haven't been so lost trying to score a fight in a long time.

Both guys were ***ing **** in fairness. They should have just called it a draw.

      Awful fight.

The only thing Solido worked was lomas midrift.

Notice a certain demographic belittling Lomas incredible achievements....
yup...connect % for lomachenko was around 30% while salido had around 20%...

definitely a controversial win by salido.....he would have been dq'ed by any competent ref...

The only decent shots I say was this random wild hook in the 3rd and te rest are low blows.

This fight is a disgrace, lOMA NOT ONLY WON Against a cheat, but the guy even if he was ahead should ave been Dsiqualified for this body blows.

          and round 12 was a 10-8 round.

Seems like the yanks are scared of Europe taking the shine away from their fighters.....
This might be a valid statement if Salido was a yank, and not from, you know....

whenever there is a boxer with great amatuer skill fighting, NSB always suggests the way to win is to rough it up and make it a dirty fight. Lomanchenko tried holding early only Salido is experienced enough to be able to deal with that.

Salido then made it an ugly, nasty, brawl. Lomachenko was in over his head and it showed. Some of the blows were low, I agree. But many of them were not, despite Lampley's disgraceful calling of the fight.

You can't have it both ways dude. You can't have posters argue the way to beat American boxers with skill is to make it dirty than have a problem when those tactics are used against non american boxers with skill.

Salido deserves some criticism for not making weight. That said, Arum knew he was having problems in the lead up to the fight. I think TR knew it would be hard for salido to make weight and were banking on him being drained in this fight.

                yeah I agree.
                It was awful.

If I had to pick a winner, it'd be salido though.

Couldn't really make a solid case for lomo, though I wanted him to win. Salido is such a boring fighter it's unreal.

I wanted Lomo to win. I thought he would be prepared but he wasn't. He looked tentative in the first few rounds trying to conserve energy. That worried me immediately. It looked as if he didn't have a true feel for what 12 rounds would entail. That shows he wasn't ready.

He wasn't prepared for a body attack and didn't know how to respond. Did he never see Salido (or any other Mexican) fight?

He didn't throw enough combination. Why? Was he still thinking like an amateur?

He didn't throw body shots until late. Why?

He didn't know how to handle Salido's roughhousing. Why?

All in all I had him winning 4 rounds definitely and maybe 2 others. At best he would have had a draw.

So much complaining about the low blows lmao. It's not either guys fault the referee was incompetent. If he's not gonna call the low shots, why would Salido stop throwing them?

Yes it was a rough/dirty tactic, but A LOT of pros use dirty tactics. Ask Paulie about when he fought Cotto. He said Cotto was dirty as hell. Hitting him on the thighs, ****ing him in the shins when they got close. Not to mention to tie up Cotto likes to push down on the back of his opponents head. Mayweather sticks elbows in your face, Hopkins wrestles the **** out of his opponents. It just showed the lack of experience by Loma. He (or his cornermen) didnt even try and bring it to the refs attention, nor did he try and stray his punches low in retaliation.
